Good steady increasing challenge to the puzzles. With pixel-hunt turned off the challenge is mainly cerebral, as you logically deduce the various identities of all involved and how they are involved. Would definitely recommend. Episodic structure allows for short and satisfying chunks of play suitable to a busy adult lifestyle. Story is interesting!

If you can run it without big issues, it's amazing.

Casual PvE team game with Left 4 Dead vibes.

Mining ore, killing bugs and robots, collecting skins, unlocking new weapons and upgrades, all super satisfying. Learning how to play is easy.

Thanks to the devs for a lovely game. Rock and Stone!

Slow start on the metaprogression, but a good game with fun mechanics, cute look, tight controls.

Focus on getting money and upgrades, they allow you to go deeper. GOLD.

This game is like Spelunky mixed with more traditional roguelikes: more combat focused, potions and scrolls, random magic items, classes. Meta-progression is unlocking perks that give abilities, bonuses and drawbacks.

If you like a difficult/deadly 2D combat, you'll enjoy this game. Mastery is difficult, but rewarding.

Early Access Review
If you like a shmup and an action roguelike with modification trees and really cool combo builds, like Hades or Binding of Issac, give this a try!

Initial worry about the inertia/thruster controls melted away quickly: controls are tight and action is satisfying.

Meta-progression is score-based and unlocks more and more options for modifications, allows you to learn the game with fewer options, making for a good learning curve. New modification unlocks are exciting and lead you to experiment with new combinations.

Super-mods (unlocked later) and achievements are things to shoot for during runs, and I'm loving them.

This is one of the best games I've ever played.
Nearly perfect piece of art.
Political, without letting any politics off the hook.
I literally laughed and cried.

Great shmup rogue-lite! Meta-progression is only unlocking weapons/mods to add to random drops, toggle-able to control your preferences.

Good soundtrack, excellent sound effects, very clear and fun visuals, tight controls on mouse/keyboard and controller (I prefer mouse/keyboard). Good progression in difficulty, from very easy early training-wheel level to final levels, with later optional difficult bosses for extra-hard win condition.

More Spelunky, more problems, more quests, more endings, more levels, more more more.

Still the same old Spelunky at its heart, get used to seeing the first level a lot, but mastery is its own reward!
