More of a glorified idle game than a survivors-like, since there is almost no space for you to walk on so I'm also not sure why there are movement and dodge upgrades available at all. Still fun and recommended for idle/survivor genre fans though. Especially good for 15 minute gameplay breaks. However, be aware that it's fairly short, but I guess the prices matches that. I managed to beat the game (surviving 30 waves) with all the characters in less than 3 hours.

What if GTA, but tiny, cartoony and quirky. Super fun and wholesome! I really dig the tiny open world concept. Hoping for more.

I was surprised to see an Indiana Jones game in 2024. A first person one on top of that. And so far I can't believe how good it is. A phenomenal mixture of Dishonored and Uncharted, two of one of my favorite games.

The game's atmosphere is so good that no amount of bugs and frame drops can ruin the immersion.

I really couldn't wait for this to come out. Bought it the first minute it became available. A great cozy immersive sim. No hurrying, no worrying whatsoever, chill vibes, chill setting. An equivalent of going on a vacation.

It ain't no Journey, no matter how pretty it is. Gameplay is quite shallow and basic. Character controlling is janky. Although there's lots of flying and sliding around it's a very slow moving game which gets boring quite quickly. Thankfully the game is short and can be easily finished in one sitting.

I'm glad it's getting positive reviews though and that I'm in the minority here because I'm fully aware of how much work goes into developing a game such as this one. It's never easy for me to write a negative review.

A few days ago, there was a post on a social media site asking "If you lived for a week in a game you last played, how screwed up would you be?” My game was Caravan SandWitch and living in it for a week would be a joy. To be able to drive around in a van around the deserted areas, having a cup of coffee with friends in a local coffee shop, hanging around a garden with grandma and doing all that in a place as beautiful as Cigalo would be a blast. I'm biased towards deserted areas, but still, for me, an interesting setting can hide a lot of gameplay flaws. I'm not saying there are many, but it's definitely an interesting game in many ways.

Although I like games with no fail option I must say that I missed some kind of fall damage, because being able to jump down from any height while climbing is such a prominent gameplay feature, I felt a bit like I was cheating. I must also say that I fully support micro open worlds like this one and Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip.

Overall, I very much enjoyed my time in Cigalo.

Absurdist british tv show in the form of a computer game? If you'd ask me if something like that would be possible to create I'd say no but alas, here we are. Not only it's possible, it's perfect in every way.

So nice buying a random game (although recommended by a certain website) and experiencing one of the best first person shooters I ever played.
