Developers intentionally killed all solo/co-op gameplay modes by slashing tickrate over 50% (entire game is tied to tickrate; animations, recoil, movement, etc). They refuse to acknowledge or fix. If you're at all interested in these, they're indefinitely unplayable.

Devs have done a phenomenal job worthy of praise in keeping the game fresh and improving recently. Changes have been made behind the scenes and it shows. If you're waiting for PS3, this is PS3 for the foreseeable future and I highly recommend jumping back in if you're an old returning player.

If you're a new player, just know that this game is literally the only one in existence that fills the niche it does. That's not hyperbole; a common complaint you'll hear from salty veterans is that fact... there's nowhere to go for a similar experience and it holds a monopoly on the game mode, intentional or not. You owe yourself to at least experience it once.
