Beautiful game, I can definitely see why it was included in the Eye Candy Humble Bundle. The visuals are lovely, and the concept of a pop-up book is awesome and well executed. That being said, the game is short and the puzzles not particularly challenging - playthrough lasts maybe 90 minutes if you take your time observing everything and watch the credits. Good for a casual, atmostpheric play without stress, but I could have wished for a bit more meat to it. I also wish there was a challenge mode where they leave off all the little cues showing what can be moved or flipped. In all but one case I noticed, there were subtle visual cues that something could move (texture and color changes, edges not quite lining up) and hunting for these would add a challenge and extend play time.

Many people complained about how slow he moves, but it felt about right for a point-and-click with this kind of atmosphere; cultivating patience when retracing steps has always been a necessity in point-and-click, and the transition animations between pages are nicely quick. The only complaint I had was how long it took to load the next area (and that's nothing new, either).

If you like to support indie games with novel ideas and the art put into them, it may be worth the $10 to you; for most, I suspect it won't be worth that much. But at 75% off, it would be worth picking up to play through if it looks at all your speed.

Feels like a class project that you would try to play for the sake of your friend to give some support. I wouldn't expect to see it on Steam as anything less than an Early Access project. Got it as part of a Humble Bundle, which is a pretty reasonable - you don't expect everything that pops up in an indie bundle to be spectacular.

Cute idea, but needs a ton of work. As people have mentioned, camera angle and edge detection are extremely sketchy - there are some jumps that are a matter of luck whether you can make them or not, and I overshot the same platform, which should have been a very simple jump, six times before I decided I had had enough. Walking through water is excruiatingly slow. I kept playing more out of stubbornheadedness than any liking of the game - I suspect I'll 100% it for the same reason. Still wouldn't pay money for it.

This is another game that can be as simple or as complicated as you want to make it, and can be played in any number of ways. Try to keep the villages peaceful, or lead them to war; focus on one village, or try to help them all equally; use complex strategies to try to maximize your development by making every square count, or just plop things down and see what happens. Plenty of developments to keep the completionist striving. You can keep yourself to strict half hour breaks by choosing the 30-minute era and not pausing, or play for hours and hours. And let's admit it: it's fun to control giants that control the landscape and the lives of cute little villagers. Art style is a definite plus, and the giants' idle animations are a nice touch.

Quick and easy to learn, not quick and easy to master, this game ends up playing as casual or as completely non-casual as you choose to approach it, and is good for both short ten-minute time fillers or long sessions of "I will beat it this time" or "I will unlock that item" gameplay. Losing is not uncommon, and can lead to certain "I'll just do it and see what happens, the worst that happens is they destroy my ship" gameplay that can be liberating at times. The kind of game you can neglect for months in favor of other games, then pick up again and play like you never left. And it's inexpensive! Definitely worth picking up to try.
