Having played the original, I can only say that this was one awesome remake.
Highly recommended, Zen deserves to be seen, Crowbar collective really shows the care and the love that they had for the project.

Ok there is a reason to say no.
Firstly, it would be important to play the previous installment of this game, Deliver us the moon.
Then, after playing the previous game, coming in and grasping the second game with that in mind will give you some insight into this.
While the first game you had to explore, solve puzzles, collect logs and find your way to end the game, in this follow up, we have a different approach.
In the first, you have a silent character that you take along for a ride and you are playing your role, advancing, not really having to consider severe moral dilemmas nor consequences of your actions, in fact, there is not much to consider in that sense, you are alone and it seems you will die alone up there (at least in a human to human interaction sense).
The second one, the main character has “personality”.
To this point, I really did consider how they decided to go ahead and create this one.
We start out with what seems to be a confident, highly intense and resolute persona, that by the end of the game is plagued with issues to a point were the bigger picture seems to be out of the window in exchange for a frail demeanor that apparently could break at any moment.
While I understand the “character development”, the persona itself is constantly in a blank state of apathy except for the moments where she interacts with the holograms or npcs.
Even for these interactions there isn’t much feeling or presence, giving a kind of a psychopath vibe to the main protagonist.
No personality shines through whatsoever during the game and this goes to reinforce the seemingly lack of effort that she seems to display while proceeding like a rock-climbing pro to escalate flat inclines without showing much effort nor appearing to be tired at any point.
As far as game play goes, in the first one, you had the sense of urgency of oxygen running out, you had to speed and get to things, and this seems to be way less of an issue here.
Rock-climbing had me at a lot of times, it is an interesting mechanic and here I give my praise to the devs, if there is ever to be a Wolverine game a similar mechanic should be in place (a forgive me if there is one out there right now, I know not all the games).
However, it becomes repetitive, and you get to ask yourselves “uhm… is the gravity here so bad that I could not simply jump down and land softly?”.
While other more technical parts of the game (lift of procedures) were well accomplished and really game you the idea of being in that seat and following the procedures with explanations and information to guide you, there is a lack of more scientific approach or reference to this part.
Does it warrant a repeat play or a repeat session to get all the achievements?
In my opinion, not really. Especially considering that you would have to go to all the climbing bits.
Should you buy this game?
Sure, in discount (sorry for the honesty) it has interesting mechanics and the story decent.

Do not buy this game.
I've played the ones before and this seems like a crappy trow together to squeeze some money out of a buyer.
The character locks still with the same animation and you do not get much interaction with the game is a point and clicker disguised as Overlord.
Worst one that I've played so far in the series, tried and uninstalled.
Lackluster.
