difficult to keep track of what paths you have and have not taken sometimes, but a silly little game ! i'd give it a 3/5 probably, not peak not bad just average and chill

maybe itll be changed after I get an ending that isnt literally THE WORST one you can get. whoopsies!!! who knows! but as of now and just over 14 hours and one completed playthrough i have some. thoughts

Um. Okay. So like. it wasnt the worst thing ever in world. but it wasnt particularly GOOD either.

you cant skip scenes which is like a mild annoyance at first when you accidently click on the same thing again like I do, but then it becomes a ginormous annoyance if you like to 100% games and get all achievements. you have to play the game 2 and a bit times through to get all achievements. if you didnt particularly love the game, that makes having to play it again without being able to skip anything a very big negative. I started to work on another run to get my other achievements and then decided I dont feel like doing that to myself currently. the inability to skip really is one of the biggest issues for me at this stage

the voice acting wasnt really good a lot of the time but majority of the time of it being bad it was bad in an entertaining way for me. it also had fine VA moments obviously

ironically the final episode is the only one (aside from the first one) that I solved all the puzzles myself without help of a guide. the bible related puzzles were awful!
why were they so awful? let me remind you of the inability to skip!

picture that you have to listen to a million different bible verses and stuff to solve a puzzle. now picture you dont know ♥♥♥♥ diddly about the bible and you dont have anything memorised so you have to take a look at them again to try and make the pieces fit. you cant just give a quick glance to see what RuPaul 6:9 was as a quick refresher while you work through it. you have to listen to it all again. I did not solve these puzzles myself. they were tedious and unfun for me so I looked up the answers. like im not a particularly smart person in my opinion, im not superb at puzzles or anything, but I can typically figure stuff out eventually by going back and forth between pieces - but going back and forth to figure things out is just so annoying in this one since you cant skip things and putting in the effort to type every single one up myself to be able to would have been equally silly when generally this isnt that type of game to me

I was generally interested in the story but like sometimes it was kind of insane LMAO like there is a couple things specifically that are very much spoilers that im like ? for why . (cough emily cough)

basically like. I didnt hate it despite my negativity. it had times I enjoyed it for sure. so its not a total knock, but its not a big recommend either. I would not recommend for achievement hunters though unless they watch some gameplay first and decide its worth it to them

I liked the skill progression system a lot, and I enjoyed the consumables stuff too honestly! it did have things going for it! there were just moments I really wasnt enjoying it but I can get committed to seeing things through just in case

it also was really cheap which was a bonus. while I had issues with it, I defintely got my moneys worth out of the playtime!

this is a moment I wish steam had a more nuanced system than basically smash or pass. because it was more like... a quick kiss for me. probably a smash for the right person, maybeee would have passed if I could go back in time(MAYBE, again: complex feelings here).

look I dont think orbs quest games should get review bombed because I want discord to continue doing these quests cause theyre simple (although the video ones are still highly preferred) BUT this game gets an exception because you know what. i just. dont. trust it. my data is 1000% going to be sold from this. i fully expect to learn sometime from now that this game was spyware lmao

a few questions:

1) why the need for admin permissions to run the game? i have not had to give admin permissions to anything but steam itself before to play a game i downloaded from their platform, even if it uses a separate launcher. maybe there is a very logical reason that i do not understand! it is very possible! but i dont trust this period so it is a point of suspicion
2) why was the user agreement blank
3) why is the game on steam a different name than the game window and the game files like i know different regions can have different titles (like "zootopia" vs "zootropolis") but generally there is at least... SOME similarity. is it called Terminull Brigade(TM), Rogue, or Project Rogueteers pls
4) why did it not want to close for the life of it?
5) WHY WAS THE USER AGREEMENT SCREEN SO DEMANDING ???? a big mostly blank thing wanting me to click a box to agree should NOT make my fans work as hard (if not harder since they started pretty much immediately with this one) as playing cyberpunk 2077 with my laptop plugged in. like that is INSANE. if an almost completely blank screen is that demanding how demanding is the actual game itself ? who coded it ? fire them

i cant play it for extended periods of time, I can only do max 3 days at a time before my attention wanes, but i still really like it. i love women

I concur that apple cinnamon is in fact the superior oatmeal flavour (especially if you add even more cinnamon cause the packets tend to be lacking imo)

if you like 100%ing its a little annoying for the once more with feeling achievement. doesn't seem to work if you don't get the endings in a specific order cause I had gotten them but didnt get the achievement so I had to do them all (excluding the success ending) again following the order in the guide by Spatvark, so thats a strange quirk. its also a bit tedious to 100% because theres no skip seen dialogue so you just sit there rapidly clicking your mouse to get to the next decision event. cute though I liked the art and music

also real tho. i too have put off going to the lounge in dorms to cook food out of fear of People being in there or showing up while im in there <3

i wonder if there is cheese in the great beyond... perhaps rinds of parmesan?

is the price pretty high for how much gameplay there is. yea, i mean i 100%ed it in 3 hours. however, consider: will wood. and also it all being stop motion. its kinda buggy sometimes like achievements and "friend is playing x game" notifications stayed in the bottom right and Freaked the F Out lmao it was crazy dskfjh. um yea idk the music is cute the good ending was cute i love will wood. it was kind of expensive for sure, but i respect the time it takes to make a stop motion thing like this too so im not super bothered by it because i know thats a lot of work and i want people to be payed fairly for their work :3 also i was gonna buy it no matter the cost frankly. if you can afford it i recommend, it was cute

i will say though, the 24 deaths for the bad ending was a little bit excessive, i feel like we could have done 15 or something instead. the 40 cheese was fine cause i ate sooo much cheese anyways, but yea the deaths condition was a little high in my opinion

it has some bugs and the checkpoints dont really work properly but personally i dont care i had fun and it was minor and easily manageable so :3

the most annoying bug though to be aware of: in the spike room, the FIRST "move north x spaces" is always one more than you are supposed to EXCEPT for the path that says to move north until you are one square away in those specific words. if it says move north two spaces the first time north is mentioned? move ONE. if it says move three? move TWO. this is only for the first time north is mentioned in the instructions. if in the same instructions it says north again you can follow what it says exactly. it was really annoying getting jumpscared by the spikes constantly until we figured out what the pattern of error was. so be aware of this !
