Portal but bigger and better. Both single-player and co-op campaigns were fun. (Experience during co-op may vary depending on partner and teamwork)

8/10. Played on Hard II difficulty, and basically cleared the whole map except some small hordes.

Slow start, but stick with it and it's a worthwhile journey. Hordes are a unique part of the game and they are fun to take down. With a huge map to explore and plenty of objectives, there's a lot to do.

After getting 100% on God of War: Ragnarok, this is my definite pick for GOTY

If you're fond of the Witcher games and Gwent, this is a must buy. Excellent characters and story-telling. Here's hoping they make more of these games.

If by chance you're reading the books, this is probably best enjoyed right after Baptism of Fire. The game talks about the results of the Second Northern War, which is only revealed on The Lady of the Lake.

New base, new locales, new mechanics, a whole load of new gear and a lot of returning monsters from previous games. Expect to sink in the same amount of hours you did in the base game.

A sure buy for anyone who has played and enjoyed Monster Hunter games in the past. Played through the main quest 3 times already and I am still finding ways of enjoying the game. With 14 different weapons available, it keeps the game fresh and I still have yet to use 4 of the available weapons. Multiple events test your ability to take on harder variants of the monsters.

I'm new to the Metal Gear franchise, this being my first one. This game is by far one of my favorite games, but maybe I just don't understand what "the usual" Metal Gear game is.

When I looked at the hours I have spent on the game, I felt like it was not accurate, I mean 40 hours into the game, and I felt like I have already played it for 100 hours.

People say the missions are repetitive, but I don't feel tired from doing the "same" missions again and again. You can approach each mission, depending on how you see fit, go in full stealth or go all guns blazing. Although in the end, it seems like the game is unfinished, perhaps Kojima has encountered problems with Konami while developing the game.

This game is the most immersive game I've played in my entire life, and it got me into wanting more Single Player games, despite the fact that I usually play Multiplayer games. This was an experience that changed the way I look at video games.
