A wonderful game! It's a horror game that doesn't rely on cheap gameplay gimmicks, jump scares, or chase sequences to be scary which is absolutely refreshing. The card game part itself is fun to play but is certainly a bit limited when compared to contemporaries, but that is half the reason why you should play this game. The narrative twists are so strong, and they hit like a truck every time. The ending literally had me scream and cover my mouth and I teared up a bit hahaha. I routinely stepped out of my chair to be like "wait, what??" to pace around the room with my hands on my head for a bit like I was an ape trying to understand a magic trick. The one criticism I have is that I think it was a mistake to hide the part of the story introduced by the ARG, casual players should be able to figure that out without just googling the ARG, if you even knew to do that. I would ♥♥♥♥ Leshy. The hidden youtube video itself is reward enough for solving the ARG and is a fun, final, cherry on top twist that simply confirms something we could've already inferred. At least reveal the karnoffel code part/what the OLD_DATA actually was in the main game. It was a bit disappointing meeting with the bonelord in act 3 and virtually nothing happened, but apparently Luke got to see what really happened? Luke got to learn all this ♥♥♥♥ easily, why should it be any different for us? Not dissing the ARG at all, just saying I would've preferred to have been fed that information in the game. A critical part of the story should not be so well hidden. Either way, stunning game!
