BattlEye is a bummer, but man, getting 112 kills and 104 assisted kills mowing down the enemy is crazy epic. Intense large scale battles where the chaos of it definitely can come into play. This isn't your Grandpa's mindless cod; this is a real battle of forces. Loving it already and only just begun...

What happens when you defeat the big bad? A lot of people hoping you'll do everything for them. And I will! Lol, I really enjoy the laid-back feel of this game while spending the last three days on it... That's right, 15 hours in 3 days... I'm addicted.

If you like 2d sandbox crafter/looter type games; this game is fantastic fun and has been consistently updated for years. They've got all the basics that tickle your fancy, plus a load of extremely amusing and game changing mechanics. Wanna terraria your way trough the game? Sure. Play it like a 2d minecraft? Ok. Wanna play the game like a pokemon master? Check! Wanna play AS the pokemon? No problem! Honestly, the way this game presents itself almost doesn't do it justice. It's a great find for a gamer like me and I can't recommend it enough.

As an aside, the Dev is fantastic! They are constantly keeping tabs in the discussion boards and truly taking the time to solve problems. I'm currently stuck playing on a Mac (f in the chat) and when I went to run the game after a recent patch, it wouldn't start. I immediately went to the discussion board to express my issue and within the day I had a response. After a couple days of back and forth between myself, the dev, and another player on Mac and he had the problem pinned down and a patch was set not even 3 days from the start. What?! Seriously, could not believe my eyes. Have to give mad props to the Developer. You can tell they really care about the game quality and our experience.

Says it runs on mac... got an imacpro... yes I know, I wish my pc wasn't broken. Anyways, the severe load on your comp from this game at "fastest" graphics is stupid bad. when you get the the coastal vault it's all platform jumping and jenky movement controls with poor camera and next to 10 fps... just bad. No, I had nothing running in the background. I play rocket league online with great reaction speeds... this game can't handle you pressing the jump button without a full second preemptive click. same with the severely clunky combat system... I'm not even joking. I've waited for this game to come out and man... just really disappointed. Maybe I'll try it again when I get my PC running... nothing here is optimized at all. gonna need the better side of comp performance.

How? How have you not played this game. Graphics may be relatively "outdated", but you'll hardly notice with just how massive, open, and intricate this world is. Be a bandit, taking out traveling caravans and simple farmers. Enlist in the army of a faction's lords and climb your way into renown in their lands. Hone your skills and travel the lands fighting for sport in grand tournaments; gaining you fame, honour, wealth, and perhaps even the heart of a noble lady. Make your name known and set yourself up as a lord in one of the great factions, beholden only to your great leader; rule over villages, towns, and castles to provide you with wealth and soldiers to forge a unified land under your liege. Perhaps you seek no liege but yourself? Then set out on the perilous and daunting journey that is sovereignty by building up great renown, honour, wealth, but also a proof to the lands of your right to rule! Storm castles and towns; pillage villages and blockade trade routes; fight in epic battles against the factions that seek to snuff out your rise to glory (battlefield limits are adjustable to a HUGE scale); balance the relations of your vassals and carefully choose those that will best serve your cause; unite the lands of Calradia! Oh, you don't want to fight?! Well... you can always become a peaceful merchant, traveling the lands for great profits, running with great haste from the bandits that flood the land, laughing in piles of money (not literally)...

If there was a word to express the excitement of an interesting new game and that sweet feeling of nostalgia, I'd use that word to express playing this game. The description isn't far off; much like those late 90's style rpgs with a whole new world of lore and adventure to explore. I get those FF7 vibes mixed into unique mechanics and a bit of a Sky of Acadia (if you've played that amazing game.)

Highly recommended if you love yourself some old style rpg open(ish) worlds. (Open like FF7 was. It's open... after you've unlocked areas, etc.) I like the leveling, progression systems, too. Granted, I grind without reason, so obtaining almost anything is rarely a problem for myself.) *Hands Down* absolutely worth the price.

The Learning curve is steep at first, but getting the hang of things is one of the greatest feelings. Especially when that involves blasting an enemy ship out of the sky with your quick thinking and handle on how your ship works. A game that is sorely underrated. Truly, this game deserves so many more players than it has.

1/5 chance for a bad outcome? it will be bad... 15 times in a row. The RNG in this game is very poor to the point of me simply not playing it anymore.
