the game itself is quite good. however, the arbitrary framerate cap and lack of widescreen support is insane for a game released in 2022. there's no way i can give this game a positive review in light of these things.

other big problems:

-weapon balance/stupid rng summons that play the game for you
-lack of solo invasions
-large open world where you just run past pointless mobs to get to a copy/paste dungeon
-waterfowl dance/homing ball of light attack
-item crafting largely pointless
-lack of covenants (just why? wouldn't this be perfect for an open world game?)

game runs like absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ due to the combined efforts of denuvo and steam. the incomplete story, mindless combat and MMO fetchquests do not make up for this.

if this review convinces at least one person to pirate this game i will feel less shame in having given square enix money

this game is rich in vitamin C and dumbass weeaboos who spam crossups

they keep pumping out sequels to this game like the government pumps chloride into our water. kony is innocent
