Don’t usually use a mash of genres and games to provide an “ elevator pitch” for a game, but the Dark souls/Hunt Showdown/Destiny going around it’s a solid explanation for WitchFire. As someone that misses the shooting feel of Destiny 2 but started to resent all the Fomo related to the bungie game I found the perfect replacement in this one . There is still a lot of corners to sand here, but it still early acess, definitely worth the price and time

Spoiler alert : you were the real Balatro this whole time.

Technical hiccups aside
cant recommend enough, type of game that comes once a decade.


There are all the strong recommendations going around pointing around the systems and the interactivity of this game, but something that I want to praise it’s the voice acting as a whole its one of the best that I ever seeing in a AAA.

Finally a puzzle game that can be challenging and dont make you fell like a tool 10/10

At this time I cannot recommend this game as it is.
Yes, its a solid metroidvania , the pixelart and art direction are amazing.
But at the moment the game its anything but fun to play...by the 3rd dungeon the game reaches pure BS levels of difficulty...
One thing its a game being full of challenges and and etc...another its the game pulling the rug underneath you. Save points are far and between...healing potion drop are rare as S&&& and the checkpoints , specially on the mentioned 3rd dungeon can soft lock you since the game will save you health as its is but will reset the enemies...
To devs, apologies for the hard words but as it is the game is just frustrating...

This is a forever game, I lost count of how many new podcasts I discovered while playing the The Long Dark
The amount of content offered by it its a great deal
I like this game so much that I wish that it had some paid DLC for me to support it.

Despite the look and feel and inspirations on game like Settlers , Anno and Frostpunk , Dice Legacy does its own thing . its a straight up digital version of a work placement board game, a board game that could exist outside de digital environment. It has lots of multitaking which presentes its own learning curve, but once mastered its becomes a very pleasant experience.
The game itself could work around some quality of life improvements in the future, but despite that , its a hidden gem for sure.

Just like OMD 2 but better, shinier and with a lot of extras stuff.
