WTF is this???? Like seriously 10 years in development and this is what we got???? My initial impressions make me feel as if Millennia and Humankind had a baby. Now I feel terrible for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on Humankind all those years ago.

This just feels so unfinished and flaccid, like I'm playing an alpha build of this game. The key part of that is the missing information and just basic options. Nothing really explains itself the civpedia is completely bare and unhelpful and the UI is super unhelpful. PLEASE, PLEASE WAIT ON BUYING THIS!!!!!! At least until its on sale, this is the most disappointing Civilization release of my life.

Honestly the game is fine runs well on multiple grades of PC's that I own. The game is nearly flawless in performance and it's free with a lot of customization and weapons. The problem I have with this game is that it shares so much in common with Battlefield 2042 and honestly seeing them play side by side its kinda hard to tell them apart that it feels copy and paste 75% overall. My biggest problems other than the blatant design ripoff of Battlefield and dishonoring the name of Delta Force is the lack of balance with the character abilities and complete lack of controller support. Its is completely unacceptable that a Modern FPS is allowed to release without controller support even if only released on PC. I understand slow paced tactics based shooters like squad or hell let loose that don't have controller support because its unneeded but this is a pretty fast paced shooter that may be hard for some people who aren't used to playing FPS titles without controller support to keep up. I know they plan on releasing it in a future update but it just feels like its a no brainer move in the industry.

Overall Its just such Battlefield clone that it is hard to get over and wish they stuck to the older formula of the franchise rather than just copying ideas from the FPS genre. I wish Steam would add a Meh button for reviews because even though it is a BF Clone it still is free so theirs no risk in trying it out. If you are a controller dependent player I would hold off until they release controller support.

This game was such ♥♥♥♥ that ruined my childhood memories of the original releases.

How they can Improve:

Add workshop mod support, fix all the ♥♥♥♥ bugs, lower the file size, add more multiplayer servers, cut the price in half, issue a personal apology to the fans.

So when I first tried to play this last year I despised it. But that's because i skipped all the tutorials didn't pay attention to the quests or challenges which are super important by the way, and just wanted elite units right off the bat. If you take the time to understand everything the game teaches you then you'll like this game and you want have such a bad time. Graphics are pretty good, game play has is great and yes there is a bit of a meta but nothing you cant figure out with a YouTube video and get around with a little practice. I bought the battle-pass but honestly didn't feel like I needed it or had to have it. Customization as far you and your character go are pretty vast but mostly obtainable through Customization chests or just through micro-transactions. Overall the game is pretty grindy but in a understandable way. Takes about 3-5 battles to get a upgrade for unit through the tech tree which is understandable. But the the one thing I despise is the seasonal challenges you have to go through to get past season unit to get specialized units from past seasons (which I'm grateful that I can still obtain these units but the challenges you have to go through take so much grind its ridiculous i played around 24hrs so far and just to get 1 of the low tiered unit and I'm still lacking 3 challenges!!! Do you need these units no not really but they're cool aesthetically and gives me something to work towards. But yeah all in all pretty good game if you enjoy a competitive grind.

So I wanted to write this review because I'm a huge fan of 40k and Space Marines. This is a game that you're either gonna love or hate their is no inbetween honestly I hate this game but since Space Marine multiplayer is dead then I am forced to play this game for the sake of my love for 40k. It has beautiful graphics and in depth customization for each race but thats about it. Melee combat is gruelingly painful and ranged combat is meh, if you don't cushed by a melee champion first. It could be done alot better. I can't really give this a good review due to content being update like crazy. Honestly if you want this game and seriously a fan of 40k hen get it, but wait till steam sale. Hope this helped.
