I swear the only people down voting this game are the ones that are expecting light years in advancements from the previous installment.
It's a sports game. By now you should know the innovations come fewer than the roster changes.

But as a Formula 1 fan, this game is incredible and puts me right where I've always dreamed of being, in the drivers seat.

It's fun.

I'm sure most of the negative reviews you're going to read are based on bugs. Yes this game has bugs. It's a small developing team not a Triple A title, there are going to be bugs.
If you want a near perfect game go buy a $70 title at GameStop not a $12 game on Steam.
The bugs are minor, the development team is releasing patches and fixing them as they are found so that isn't the issue.

The game is fun if you like games like Gold Miner or Out of Ore where you are performing mindless repetitive tasks like removing dirt and selling it to buy new equipment.
The problem is the actual mining takes little to no effort so it is incredibly easy to buy everything the game has to offer in one play session leaving you virtually nothing to do after.

I can only hope the dev team has much more in store for DLC to increase replay value. There in game store contained a train in the demo that is not there in the finished game so there's hope they have more in store.

I have had this game since early access. That's three years now and in that time they have changed developers because the original team abandoned it, and the new team has botched it. Three years and there are still basic functions that just stop working and break the game. Forcing you to delete your save and start over.
Do not waste your time or your money on this game. It's pretty clear the people making it don't care about it, so neither should you.

When I come home from work and just want to relax, this is the game I play. The developers still make updates to improve the game play and fix any bugs that may arise. It's just a fun, relaxing game of commercial fishing that lets you earn boatloads of cash (see what I did there?) and upgrade to bigger boats, and different types of fishing seasons.
Ever wanted to make millions of dollars by spearing giant blue fin tuna or swordfish? This is where it happens.

There's a lot of mixed emotions about this game. I think those that dislike it are mostly from the action packed multiplayer crowd that expected this to be something more than it was advertised as.
If you're looking for a game that allows you to go at your own pace and just explore, in the truest sense of the word, in a digital realm that you couldn't explore all of if you had 10 lifetimes, than your search has ended. The only people that find this game boring are the ones that have no idea what exploration and documenting your discoveries are really about. Enjoy!

Love the games, always have. But there's a bug in the display settings that won't let you increase the display size once you've minimized it. It locks up the entire program and uninstalling it does not reset it.
