I actually started writing my Switch Axe guide with World, because there was so much false info being spread by Youtubers, and with Rise, it took the community 7 months to realize the meta shifted, and even the reddit would witch hunt those who went against what they said was meta. Honestly i dont understand why there isnt a 3 strike warn system before you get banned. I saw alot of trigger happy mods in Discussions.

I mean, my ban is lifted when Rise releases, I'm not butthurt about it, I just wish I could contribute to discussions. It's no big deal.

I can't say i know JPM well but as someone who used to post on the MHW forums i already saw people biting the dust long ago by a rouge mod which i why i stopped bothering going there, people getting banned for little to no reason.

i'm not sure what post did him in, but i doubt it was anything huge, i think he may have caught of the teenager mods who went on a ban spree. Steam does not seem to mentally screen some of their mods and it looks like that forum has the corrupted one or ones.
