i wish i could like this game. have to refight every fight because the game freezes up and becomes unable to progress/unresponsive. EVERY COUPLE ENCOUNTERS. sometimes in the beginning of the battle, sometimes near the end, sometimes on the main map. this isn't something that should make it into a finished game.

When I first started playing this game, I fell in love with it. Like most love stories, there was some heartbreak. The game kept freezing and glitching out, to the extent that i could not finish a playthrough. serveral attempts later, i started to feel like the game would never work. I didn't want to refund it, i just wanted to train my gladiators for glorious, mortal combat! So, i contacted the dev. Singular, because i think it's just the one dude. He emailed me back personally, and asked specific questions about my problem, and told me that a patch was coming out a day or so later that might fix my issues. Not only did everything work perfectly, but i finished my next playthrough... and watched every man i painstakingly trained for almost an in game year brutally murdered in the arena. 10/10 !!!!!

The only thing missing in this game is other people to play with. PvP game modes aren't populated, but the game is super fun. If they did Line of sight based fog of war for pvp and maybe a few other balance and team-lock / scramble tweaks then this game could be amazing. It's basically arma (bohemia interactive) mixed with infantry (sony). 6/10

Has a lot of potential. Pay to win? No, but pay to get things faster. Better for this game to start with an initial cost to purchase, and have no micro-transactions, which are what prevent games like this form being great. If people stopped wasting money purchasing in-game currency, then the gaming industry would stop ruining good games like this with "pay to skip the boring parts" games like this.

It's like killing people... but in a military sim way.

I've been here since the beginning, supporting BI for so long, and they have completely failed me with Arma 3. Just some questions for you guys:

Why are the vehicle physics so awful? Why can't you move around inside large, open vehicles? Why are the movements and animations so awful? Why can a player press v and step through walls? Why can't you jump, and why does the step up function just move you straight through the object you want to step up onto? Why does a 1 meter fall kill people? How hard is it to fix the "simulation" aspects of your game? Why do you think I would pay for a few extra guns/skins/helicopters IF YOU HAVENT EVEN FIXED THE GAME BREAKING BUGS YET?? WHY DO MODDERS SPEND MORE TIME WORKING ON YOUR GAME THAN YOUR STUDIO???!?!
