Highly addictive and a lot of fun. Recommended.

Drive rocket-powered cars about a cage-lined stadium arena and attempt to hit an oversized ball into a goal. On the surface, it sounds absolutely stupid. It is incredibly fun.

One of those rare games that gets its claws into you and just will not let go. Incredible support from the developers, with well thought out (read: cosmetic only, fairly priced) DLC.

My only slight critisism (and this is not really one of the game, per se) is it does attract the odd one or two toxic player(s) in competitive.

Highly recommended.

Honestly one of the few games out there that has managed to hold my attention for ~1000 hours. With each expansion the game has become more rounded and fun, each in turn smoothing off the rough edges of its predecessor. Whilst purists say that Civ IV is superior, the 'one unit per hex' rule of Civ V is what gives this iteration the edge for me.
