This game is about play to grind, especially when you want to play with modern era vehicles.

I personally play this game for Realistic Ground Battles so review will be around those. I also play Realistic Air Battles so those will be also mentioned. Ships never interested me so I do not bother to even try them. Also my review is targeted to modern stuff as there is where I play most.

If you want to play just most modern tanks, do not bother playing this game. This game main focus is planes and everything else is content for planes. It will take you ages to grind trough tech tree and you will find out than even when you reach the top, you actually are not on the top. You still will have to face much stronger aircrafts and there is nothing to do about it. Gaijin also adds more and more modern aircraft with better and better ground ordinance meanwhile SPAA is almost still same with limited range and performance for couple of years. It is sad. Ground to ground combat is very interesting but it is heavily disrupted by planes. It really does not matter how good you are when aircraft can easily whipe you out and there is almost no counter play.
