I'm enjoying my experience thus far. I could never quite stick to the Fallout games and this game reminds me a lot of those, but I feel compelled to actually engage with the game. I can see myself putting at least 30 hours into this - which for me, is quite an investment.

I'm fond of the Sniper Elite games and seeing more AA games like this makes me happy. I'd rather have a dozen of these kinds of games appear in my store each year than the AAA money-grab disappointments that I constantly see. I'm having fun exploring the British countryside, trying to solve a mystery with juuuust enough hand-holding that I don't feel like a complete imbecile.

I'd recommend this if you want a solo experience with a rewarding gameplay loop. Not sure why I heard a scouser in the game but you bet your ass I'm assassinating any scouser that's in the lake district and offering to help a stranger.

Note: I never had performance issues with the release. I've been able to enjoy it with 60 FPS @ 4k and I'm blessed as such. The game itself is PHENOMENAL. I'm HR40 at the moment and I still feel like I've plenty left to learn...

It's a cute game but it's not got much sense of progression and all the heroes feel very similar to control, with only three variations of attacks with sword/shield, lance, daggers. I didn't expect massively unique play styles but the only thing that's really different between heroes are the appearance/ultimates (which are a spectrum of really fun to use to very boring).

The puzzles are great, and you do get a sense of accomplishing them (I.E collect 10 of something during a mission or interact with the map in interesting ways).

I would like to feel more of a connection with the heroes and be able to have an attachment to more than just their ultimate abilities - whether that be minor customisations with a levelling system or some other form of replay-ability. It's no secret that most people buying this game or considering it are looking for a nostalgia kick from the Castle Crashers days.

You will get that nostalgia, but it is short lived. I'm keeping an eye on the game for future updates and I will recommend this for other people that might not care as much about the progression as I do. It's deserving of love and attention and you can see that the developers have had fun making this co-op experience.

The game runs fine on Steam Deck, just make sure to "Auto Set" the graphical settings and maybe reduce the render resolution a little further if you like playing at 12w.

Took me a long time but no evidence runs are now the go-to... learn them spooky behaviours. Hoping that I one day get hired by Most Haunted, definitely got the resume now

This game is surprisingly good. It's not just a simulator because it's also narrated well with a story.

Fun progression, challenging rouge-like. I've not yet felt like RNG is necessarily holding me back and I've still got a character to unlock but I'm looking forward to attempting harder runs with each of them.

After a good number of additional hours - the game has added a lot more content and is growing in opportunities. Would absolutely recommend. I've not spent a penny and have a good chunk of cosmetics and stuff I've earned for free.
