Stardew Valley is Harvest Moon done RIGHT.

Pros;
-Full Character Customization. Something these farm rpgs have been lacking since the first Harvest Moon. Any color hair is my favorite, since I managed to get the exact style and colour my hair is right now (a cute windswept purple).
-No gender restrictions for marriage. You can marry ANY eligible bachelor or bachelorette regardless of your PC's gender.
-Simple, comphrehensive controls. (Except controllers but I'll get to that.)
-It's BEAUTIFUL. The landscape is adorable, there are butterflies and cherryblossoms that fall in the spring, the character portraits are very well done. Not to mention the music is rly cute too.
-A cool little dungeon crawler that gives actual reward to doing it.
-Regaining energy is really easy with all the stuff to forage.
-The marriage candidates are all really cute


Cons;
-Controller support is wierdly floaty. You'd have to play it to understand what I mean. It works, but it could work better.
-If you wear a hat you have to see it, which is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. A lot of games have an option to wear hats without seeing them on your avatar, so I wish it would be implemented here.
-When talking to people, once you run out of dialogue for the day, it doesn't repeat, you just can't talk to them anymore. I'd rather have the last dialogue repeat itself over and over when you try to talk to them, then to forget I already talked to them in the morning and my game isn't just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.
-I passed out on my front porch at 2AM and instead of dragging me to bed, someone took me to the doctor and I had to pay 30G.


Overall, my only cons are things that are either being worked on, or simple fixes that could be patched in if the dev wants to. This is definetly worth the 15$, and I'm going to put in a LOT more hours in this game.
