As any other elder scrolls, this one is a banger despite it's showing age. With just a handful of mods you can freshen the experience and paint some of the outdated aspects with a new coat. Always love to go back to Cyrodiil from time to time, so i definetely recommend it.

If playing with Invictus/Terra-Indomita, this is probably the most fleshed out PDX game in recent times. Culture and religion conversion is really satisfying with the pop system, which also adds authenticity to warfare in the way of pops dying when a province is sieged and the levies system which look like they'll be making their way into EU5...

Great game and possibly the best co-op/horde game to come out in recent times. Gameplay is addictive, giving you the ability to use an ever-expanding arsenal of weapons and stratagems how you choose and with a huge range of player mobility that more often than not, translates to epic and cinematic moments.

The game is obviously meant to be played coop, but matchmaking and communication with randoms is great, so fear not if you don't know anyone to play with.

One last thing that I really appreciate about Helldivers 2 is the in-game treatment of events and communications from the dev team as part of the game´s lore, which really shows how much they care about the game and the community built around them!

P.S: Thank you Sony for reverting that horrible decision and allowing our helldiver brothers from countries with no access to ps services to keep enjoying the game, and to Arrowhead for the support we received from them!

FOR DEMOCRACY!

Excellent game, rich story supported by an amazing cast of characters that will either accompany or simply meet you along your path. I've never been a fan of turn-based combat games but I decided to jump in regardless and didn't regret a second, to the point where I consider it one of the best games that I've played in the last 5 years!

Amazing story within a beuatufully detailed setting. Update 2.0 and subsequent really upped the game tremendously!

Great rework to the skill system that finally lets you feel like a truly op chromed beast or a legendary netrunner capable of downing everyone he looks at. Graphics have also been updated, with the game now running much more smoothly than before.

Rediscovering Nightcity has been such a treat with the extra content added to the base story, fleshing out some characters and V's relationship to them in a fantastic way, having the dlc is even better since you get to see some minor characters reappear, adding to the feeling that the city is truly alive and you can have an impact on it.

Focusing in the DLC, the story comes with the awesome performance of Idris, whom I think did a great job protraying Reed. Some elements of the base story are also played here in a better way, constantly giving you an uneasy feeling of who can you really trust, in my opinion, something they were aiming for with Johnny but got midway.

There are still some bugs here and there, sadly there are a couple that can trigger during some quests, which luckily are well documented, giving you a workaround if you search online, but this shouldn't really be the case in a game that's so good in every other aspect!

In conclusion: One of the best games to come out story, settings, and characters -wise that had some mishaps way back, and although not totally polished without mods, it's one of those games you can't skip.

Early Access Review
After experiencing some minor bugs expected from an Early Access I came across a major one involving the Productive Packer Deluxe Minigame where after deleting the HUB, an invisible hitbox prevents me from accessing the HUB's terminal or building anything in that spot, this may not seem like much, but after 4 hours of play time, searching for a nice place to build my base and actually doing it I've lost the spot because of this.

It is a good game and I wouid love to keep on playing but it is in dire need of fixes and improvements, until then, I can't give the game a positive review.

[EDIT]

After all the time passed since I did the review the game has dramatically improve in quality and the issue I pointed out only happened during the past christmas, so if you are into this kind of games definetely jump in!

As it was when it first came out, Destroy All Humans! is a perfect example of a great remake. Loyal to the original game with improved mechanics and some new elements.

The campaign, albeit short, is extremely fun to play while upgrading your saucer and abilities as you progress. The missions are easy to accomplish. Even if you are looking complete all the extra objectives you won't have too much to worry about, the real challenge lies within the optional sub-activities such as Armaggedon or the races.
There are few of those extra activities which are the same in all the locations you visit. The objectives and enemies usually change but it can get a little tedious after a while.

Finally, flying the saucer and exploding everything you encounter is arguably the best this game has to offer, once again you have multiple abilities/weapons at your disposal and enemies who are trying to stop you from doing so but with little succes, since your spaceship is quite overpowered, causing a true sensation of alien technological superiority.

That being said, this has also been the biggest disappointment for me: The buildings all have almost an identical animation when being under attack. After playing for a little every building appears the same when destroyed. I wish there was an improved system similar to that of Destroy All Humans! 2, where as an example, the Death-Ray left scorching marks in the buildings.

I hope they improve this latter aspect mentioned if they are remastering the sequel as well, which I hope they do.
A great game, short, fun, as hard/easy as you want it to be, with a few bugs and some things to rethink. Definetely worth it if you liked it when it first came out or are looking for a light game to enjoy this summer.

Do you love South Park? Well, this game puts you in the skin of a new kid arriving to South Park and it just feels like you're really a part of the show. The animations, the carachteristic humor, constant references to the show... When I started playing this game I had only watched a few chapters and still managed to get me into this world full of fun and madness, so give it a try!
