Amazing experience.
I didn't play Half Life at the time, but playing Black Mesa I now understand how people recommended the game so much and how it has been so acclaimed. An incredible job by this team that has treated a title of such caliber so carefully.

The Xen part is up to date and these people know what they're doing. He has nothing to envy from the puzzles and game-pathing of the original designers of the game.

If you played Half Life it's definitely worth coming back to Black Mesa again.

The design of the scenarios, the way the player is led through the different paths, make places that could be labyrinthine open up to you as if it were a single path. It's brilliant, and shows that you don't need to have a game with the best graphics or complex gameplay mechanics to make a masterpiece. 10/10.



PS: Would it be too much to ask for a remaster of the rest of Half Life? I would pre-buy it brainlessly. Although now I'm going to play the rest of the saga without waiting.
