The anti-intellectualism on the right and center is sad. Something isn’t wrong just because you have to think about it to understand it. Its true that memes are not well suited for walls of texts, but, after seeing thousands radicalized by altright memes, can you really blame leftists for trying to make memes of their own to counter that? Even if you can, its obvious that most of the people who complain about the walls of texts in leftist memes aren’t complaining about them because they make for bad memes, but because they hate beliefs that are more complex than simple emotional reactions, which is why the criticism that leftist memes are walls of texts often gets applied to posts that are not trying to be memes (I’m not saying that you specifically have done this). To be clear, larping about “the Revolution” is extremely cringy and implies the maker of it is as much of an anti-intellectual as the people who complain about leftists using too many words to make their points.

What I am saying is that your criticism of it should not boil down to “it has too many words”. Even if your criticism of it is deeper and you simply decided to complain only about the number of words, not for anti-intellectual reasons, but because it harms the quality of the meme (which could even be a pro-intellectual reason even if you’re concerned about such memes encouraging anti-intellectualism), the way you chose to express it runs the risk of encouraging anti-intellectualism in others.
