Easily the best FPS game that I have played in the past few years. Now I would say that a game like Ultrakill would be the best, but its yet to be finished so I am waiting on that.

But back to Trepang2. I loved each moment of gameplay that this game has to offer. From the gameplay, to the sound design and then to the general aesthetic of the game, it was a rather enjoyable experience. There is a surprising amount of guns that the game has to offer that you can play around with and customise to your playstyle. To the games benefit and downfall, I actually rarely swapped weapons cause the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ base pistol and shotguns were way to fun to mess around with. Only when I moved onto the Rage Mode difficulty did I start to experiment with other weapons like the katana and DMR, and boy, those weapons were fun to use.

My main gripe with the game wasn't that it was short or that there was a few mechanical bugs. It was the fact that out of combat it was rather slow to get around, but then I found out some movement tech and it was able to solve the issue for the most part.

I am looking forward to their next game, whether it be a sequel or a whole new game entirely.
