This game is good for the price. Everything you could want in a simple roguelike slots game. The challenge level goes up in a nice enough way to push you to keep replaying while the modding/workshop community has added plenty of content to allow tons of customization.

This is exactly how it has been described multiple times. It's 3D Vampire Survivor mixed with Risk of Rain 2, and has some of the most fun challenges and items to mess around with. The stats are easily understandable and the replayability if you like rogue-lites is endless.

This is one of the most relaxing games. Content-wise its a bit barren but in that simplicity it thrives. It's an easy pick up and go type game for any mood

They need to fix the 99% loading error. I'm not spending over an hour moving files off my C: drive to then wait for this game to transfer there, just to play the game, that runs below 60 fps half the time for virtually no reason. After the season 1 patch it has just gotten worse and I'm getting sick of fighting it. Fun game, bad issues that make it hard or near impossible to play.

There is still massive porting issues with PC. The game is still fun, the changes this year are nice, but the application doesn't run great on a PC. No sports game respects PC enough to properly port it off of console. Plus the shaders man. I have never seen such a nothing addition that just adds loading time and nothing else.

Update: The game will consistently run worse and worse. There is nothing I can do about it, and 2k just seems to not care about this game past those who will spend $100 a build every other week.

The game is good, in theory, but it has been long since abandoned. It really sucks that they'd do that to the game. It has ridiculously often crashing and freezing issues, even in offline games. They tore down the "Classic" way to play autochess and made it worse. It's hard to keep up with what characters are available in which modes because it's not all of them in every mode. Standard mode got entirely changed and is just awful now. The devs long since abandoned this game and I suggest you do too. TFT is obviously the winner, and these devs know it, so they abandoned ship the moment they lost. Which sucks, because I would prefer this, a simpler autochess game, over TFT. But with all the bugs, lack of clarity, lack of players, and lack of updates, there is absolutely no reason to play this game instead. It is dreadful. There are mobile app autochess games based on nothing with less in them that run better and provide more fun.

Early Access Review
I was one of the originals on the kickstarter of this game, months before we were given keys and executables to even get a glimpse at the product we endorsed, that was back around 2013, and since then the game has made plenty of progress. The gripes I have with the game are the lack of replayability built into the game and the now more recent lack of updates. The developer is, or at least was, active in the community a little less than a year ago, but updates have stopped since 2016. Being a fan of rogue-likes I was super excited for this game, but after many many hours (Plenty on the non-steam files kickstart supporters were given) I am not impressed. It just gets awfully repetitive and I am not one to grind out the experience. A rogue-like should have more impressive or effective items that change the experience and the items help, for sure, but don't effect the gameplay in an impactful enough way for you to feel the run has varied much. It hurts knowing I used to have so much hope for this game, and have since lost it.

Maybe a 3/10, wishing it would get more updates.

Also, I technically recieved the steam product for free as we were given keys after the initial kickstarter was successful. But I obviously put money into the kickstarter, I just can't recall how much.
