Early Access Review
A deep and brutal pixel rpg which shows great potential, very addictive. Has stalker / cannon fodder vibes, don't be fooled by the cute arcadey 16bit pixel art gfx, you will die quickly if you are not very careful.

The 2020 review -

Don't buy this game, unless you don't mind sacrificing all your spare time, on second thoughts, what else is there to do?

After 1.0 release some 430 hours later -

It's a masterpiece in game design, loving realised by a team of amazing developers who listened to the community - the changes between the early access complete the game and complement the earlier releases in early access. It's rare to see a game evolve into something so perfect.

It's a great combination of base building, tech tree unlocking, exploration, production chains etc

2014 - I bought a technical demo called 'Next car game', as a big fan of flatout, I was looking forward to this.
2015 - Not a lot changed.
2016 - Development none existent - I swore I'd never buy another early access game
2017 - long since uninstalled
Apr 2018 - I noticed the title had changed, I reinstalled the game and plugged in my racing wheel

Holy Moly, Bugbear have nailed it, this is bloody amazing, too much fun. This is the best racing game money can buy, forget shiny cars, this is where it's at. Now just go and buy the game f*ck some sh*t up!

An old school game in the mould of 'Eye of the Beholder' but it goes way beyond in terms of gameplay, graphics and atmosphere. Well recommended. If you own 'Legend of Grimrock' this is a no brainer purchase. It's a worth sequel. Very addictive. Great puzzles and combat.
