I remember playing the original version growing up on my grandma's old Dell computer. I would get excited to visit her because I knew this game was waiting for me. This game is very nostalgic and I will continue to play it for years to come. I am very excited to see what the developers do next!

I got this game to have some fun with my friends, but remote play does not work at all. Refunded this garbage game. It is not even worth the 90% off discount of $2.99

I absolutely adore this game! I am not normally into games that are split-screen, but with this game, it works. The story line, the visuals, the music... all of it just works so perfectly. Not only am I really enjoying the game itself, but I am extremely invested in these characters. I love watching them succeed and seeing their character develop grow with each chapter. The puzzles themselves are not that hard, as long as you don't overthink it... which I do every single time. I make it way more complicated than it needs to be and then I feel dumb when I realize the solution was so simple. Having a good person to play with will definitely make the experience way more enjoyable, so be sure to keep that in mind when you decide to start this game. I have two chapters left, so I am excited to see how the story ends!

Update: I just completed the game. The ending was simple, yet sweet. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Don't sit through the credits expecting something because there was nothing. lol

Update #2: I still think about this game fairly often and I would love a part 2 to this game. This is by far one of my FAVORITE games I have EVER played and nothing can compare!

Phasmophobia is a great game, especially with friends. It can be funny and scary at the same time. You never know what to expect when you start a game. Just when you think you know what kind of ghost it is, something will happen that will totally make you question everything. Each update adds something new and exciting, so it makes it even better! I would highly recommend getting this game with some friends and enjoy getting spooked!

Edited to add: This game has come a long way since it was launched. There are several spooky updates, more ghosts, and several new maps. Each update adds a whole new element that you didn't know was missing!

If you just want a calm game to kill some time, then this is the game for you! It's fun playing it a couple times because you never know exactly how long it'll take or what the end results will be. Also, you can't beat the price, which is free! The music is very relaxing and I would highly recommend it for anyone. 10/10

Here is my most honest review of the game. I got this game last summer and it has been a wild ride. I got it when there was the summer sale, so that's what pushed me to get it. Here is what I've experienced since I first started playing:

As a female, this game is not that great. I really only have fun if I am the admin because I can control who is in the room. If I am not the admin, I get verbally abused. I will join a room and before I even say anything or do anything, I am a target. I get told, "Go back to the kitchen," or, "Go make me a sandwich," or, "Suck my d-," and most recently, "I bet you're obese." The most frustrating thing is that if I am not hosting the room, then I have to decide to take the verbal abuse or amuse everyone and argue back. Personally, I have no energy to argue with every single person I encounter with this game.

As an admin, this game has absolutely been fantastic. About half of the people on my friends list are from this game. I have met so many cool and interesting people, that I made a Comedy Night themed Discord server just about this game. What is really nice about this game is that it brings people together. I am from America, but I have people from all over the world. I have people from France, England, Australia, China, Spain, Kuwait, Canada, Russia, etc...

The community of this game is quite small. I encounter several of the same people, which can be good or bad, depending on the day. The community can also be very toxic. The racist and sexist comments on here are insane. I am actually playing the game while I am writing this review and I just got called a ♥♥♥♥♥, so yeah. The funny part is that most of the rude comments are coming from very young children. The youngest players are usually the ones being rude and disgusting. They are also the ones who do about 90% of the mic spams, which is also very annoying. I just want to come into a room, talk, tell jokes, laugh, have fun, etc... but it's nearly impossible with these young children. I wish there was a way to confirm your age before playing this game because I think that would help a lot.

Overall, the game itself has a lot of room for improvements, but there are frequent updates. You can make facial expressions, move your head, change the camera angle, and customize your character. There are also music rooms and duel mic rooms so you can battle on stage. I do recommend the game because there is a lot to do, however, there aren't many people online at one time, so it'll be a hit or miss if the lobbies will be fun or not. It really just depends on the day.

Edit: It's been some time since I wrote my review and the game itself has gotten better, but the community has gotten worse. I originally recommended this game, but now I am not so sure. It's a shame to see how the community has gone. I still have hope for the future though.
