Devs hate Survivors, regressed rank because "intentionally sacrificed myself" to end game early, when in reality, toxic killer.

One of the great things that made Tony Hawk games awesome was the soundtrack, especially for the first. While some of the classics do make a return, the soundtrack isn't what it once was. The roster is updated with new skaters, but some of the old ones didn't make it. I mainly bought this game for nostalgia, but so much has changed that it doesn't bring back those good memories. Also, PC port is piss-poor. No options, no multiplayer, no controller controls listings, no specials that I could find. If you're thinking about it, go buy a playstation and play the original. Much better than HD.

Shooting is utterly broken on this game, particularly in MyPlayer mode. 99 3-pt, 99 consistency, Dead-eye, Catch-n-Shoot perks, wide-open, uncontested, A+ timing and shot quality shots will clank right out of the basket on a near constant basis. I wouldn't expect to make every single shot, but with those stats and excellent shot quality, I should be making a bit more than 15% of my shots. With 99 free-throw shooting and consistency along with A timing, I make about 97% of my free throws, but max ratings I can't even hit the broadside of the parking lot from beyond the arch. I find I make more shots if I'm contested, or have a C-ish release timing on my shots, which is weird and effectively removes any need for skill. If you're putting the hurt on the computer, it will make an ungodly run on you making everything, including those F- shot quality (turn around faders beyond the arch double teamed). About the only fun way to play this game is either PF or C. You can adjust sliders in Association mode, but that's not an option in MyPlayer.
Foul calling is also broken. Everything is a "blocking foul." Swatted an arm while contesting a shot? Blocking foul, and you "didn't quite have your feet planted", take some free throws. It's an annoying bug that should have been patched, but it hasn't.
This game has its fun moments, but given late life of this game, ludicrous price tag ($30) on such an obsolete piece of software, and the problems mentioned above crippling the main feature that have gone unresolved after such a long time, this is a very difficult sell and makes me question my next purchase from the developer.
