Very nice game. Soundtrack is good and story is minimal due to having no dialogue. It serves as a prequel to Finding Paradise even though this came out first. I believe this could have worked better as a DLC but then it has its own soundtrack so it's good as a separate game.

I was kinda hesitant at first because the original game was Dome Romantik. I got over it after playing. Fun game. It's like terraria meets tower defense.

For better experience, you can copy the data folder into other cavestory engines like Doukutsu-rs or NXengine-evo. Achievements won't work though even if you copied and replaced the CaveStory+.exe file with Doukutsu-rs.

You can say the devs really love pokemon. Has a lot of improvements in terms of gameplay while still maintaining the traditional playstyle.

Best unboxing game.

I recommend playing the bonus music included while reading the comic.
