Garbage Game

Without a doubt the best Star-Wars game in recent years.

Hot blooded Mecha action packed into a high quality game. What's not to like?

I read the muv-luv series back in 2013 when all we had was a fan translation. I think Degica has done a great job at re-translating the game and bringing it to us in the West.

Muv-luv extra is the entry point in Age's Muv-Luv visual novel series. It's your typical and generic harem rom-com setting, but with wacky, eccentric and memorable characters. In the original amatersu fan translated version after you've completed both main routes of the heroines of extra you're given the choice to start the unlimited storyline, but now in the new steam version it is given to you from the start with out going through extra. I recommend starting with extra to get familiar with the characters that you will be spending most of your time engaging with and extra foreshadows a lot of the events from unlimited and alternative that you have to carefully pay attention too. this series has major genre shifts and pop culture references relating to Western and Japanese mediums such as: starship troopers, gunbuster, initial D, and more.

There has also been some minor improvements made to the steam version to help revitalize this visual novel from 2003. The new version brings animated character sprites, (eyes and mouths move and blink) new original soundtracks, openings from the windows 7 version and the option to switch to the original 2003 openings, and a new over hauled interface.
