Overall decent free to play space looter-shooter with pros and cons, game is basically Diablo/PoE in space but in a third person mode, so if you are familiar with the genre its about grinding stuff so you can grind stuff faster. Ingame currency is well designed you pay for convenience nothing else, you can whale out or you can grind and sell stuff to whales, depending on your time and playstyle, everything you can pay for is obtainable and you can sell it to other players, tho some grind will potentialy make you lose your mind but if you are semi competent you can earn some ingame currency and just buy stuff you need if you burned yourself.

Bad stuff about the game:
New content release is lackluster, Developers are kinda confused about direction they want to go with the game, so you will get one patch of main quest story(that is pretty good but still 10+ years later still unfinished) then some patches of content nobody asked for and very few percentage of players really enjoys (Railjack Kuva liches both done by about 2-3% of all player population, stats that you can easily see in steam achievments) so to paraphrase one avid content creator for this game "They are just throwing sh*t at the wall and see what sticks"
Other bad thing is game even tho its very vast gets repetitive very fast so you are at a risk of burnout sooner than later and game systems are not very well explained so you will need to google/youtube about 90% of the stuff to learn about basic game mechanics, game will not guide your hand but other players will so you got that going for yourself, overall not a bad game, more than a decent for a free-to-play tittle, pars on with some tripple A releases.

Im playing it as i write this, so far im not really impressed, units really lack variety, there is 5 diferent model, rest is just weapon variations and 5 recylceld units from Chaos faction, mini campaing is nice but only playable with one faction, so you will get 10-15 hours from it and another 15-30 hours from grand campaing (depends on what dificulty you are playing)

So to sum it up its 25-45hours for 15euros(17 if you didnt preorder) and honestly doesnt feel worth it, i have pretty mixed feelings about this, ill give it positive review only because its such a boring year (gaming wise) and this basicaly saved my summer, this will provide me solid fun during my college break. If you have something to do i would strongly suggest for you to buy this DLC on sale, because i would feel bad otherwise.

Also im a bit worried for the future DLCs if they contiune with these prices, at the end this will be one expensive game. Plus that lame excuse for completing roster, that it would be too expensive, this beastmen alone cost 1/4 of base game and roster is incomplete, yet for 60e you get 4+1 faction with many flying units and variety of models, i have no idea how 3d modeling works but it really boggles me.

Anyway you can see unit composition and variety for yourself on youtube and you decide is this worth your money or not.

It was pretty hard for me to decide should i give positive or negative review of this game because developers over and over again relly on moders to do their job and from various points this game seriosly feels like step backward for Total War series, i have no idea why they didnt keep features from previous games, they are seriously lacking, looks like they focused only on the game looks and completly neglected other factors such as unit animation and various options on strategic map and battle mode.

Things i liked:
-Huge diversty between playable factions, it really adds longetivity to the game and makes replays extra fun and fresh.
-Beautiful graphic, game really looks good, strategic map and battle terrains, forest first time feels like forest!
-Diplomacy feels less clunky and AI in that part is improved, defensive pacts and military alliances now means something and AI is respecting them.
-AI in battles is slightly more inteligent than in previous games, it changes tactics during battle and finaly it wont charge with cavlary on your spear units etc.

Things i didnt liked:
-You still have to heavily rely on mods to make game enjoyable.
-Enemy agents are pestering again and you have to rely on sheer luck to combat them.
-AI "cheating economy" is still present with holding unrealistic army stacks and endless money.
-AI doesnt follow development of game and sometimes give you anoying missions for example gives you grudge against undead when you just exterminated every single vampire around you, or destroy orc settlement just when you finished with them, RNG can really get you in this game and set you back, no matter how good you handled it so far.

What seriosly pissed me off!
-Battle interface is really dumbed down to the point i hate it! You cant toggle loose/tight unit formation, you cant select phalanx or spearwall, no flaming arrows, basicly they removed everything they added since first Shogun Total War game until this day, i have no idea whats the logic behind this but it really gimps you in battle!

Im giving positive review only because i hope this game will succeed and i hope they will fix these mistakes, especially battle interface! Its 2016 and you are liming me a freedom to command with units? Common!!

Only bought it because it was on discount, complete edition for 7,45 euros, in my opinion real price is 5 euros, reason is too much effort to start the game, double DRM, requires steam + Uplay buggy launcher(you have to delete default version of Uplay wich you get from steam and download latest from ubisoft website!! Its easier to play this game if you pirate it than on steam! Double sync with cloud on both uplay and steam (WTF) autosync on Uplay always fails!! And thats just starting the game! Game is dumbed down with only 3 resources and mine controls are noob friendly if you control castle you control all mines, i dont mind this because im lazy i find this as a good thing, what is bad is the lazy programing concerning game AI! I mean lazy developers wanted to gimp players who just play passive and stockpile army so they can go on later and steamroll the scenario/campaing, i dont really mind gimping this but the way they did it is completley wrong! Ai ignores economy it just spawns armies out of the blue and gets fresh troops through some sort of Harry Potter sorcery, so if you want to win only way is rush and realoding battles since you cant afford to loose a single creature, so all of you who like to explore the map you gonna have a bad time....
I only marked review positive because of the price i feel seriosly sorry for folks who paid full price on this!

This game has its flaws, like sudden not responding in stragetic map for no aparent reasons, but if you are a hardcore fan of totalwar franchise you will like it, its a great strategy game with great political and economic aspects my only objection to this game is that there is a lot of factions which is great in the start of the game but bad in the late game because once your empire is big enough there wont be anyone able to par your strenght simply because there is lot of factions and none cant rise to be dominant power, so in the late game you will steamroll and only fear to your might will be a sudden civil war, but if you are good enough that will stumble your advances for a few turns only. Other than that all in all it is a great game of this genre!
