Don't play this game. The screen goes over your own screen so you can't read the beginning, and the voice acting. OH THE VOICE ACTING!!!! SO HORRIBLE!!! the insults are funny though. Just look up all the insults or something and say them to your friends. This game is a waste of space. Not recommended, even for free. Oh and there is no settings, no menu, no nothing. I had to sit through 5 minutes of this torture to bring you this review.
1/10 because some of the insults, SOME, were funny

I have just, as of writing this review, beaten the game. (no spoilers in this review btw) This game, is probably one of the best rpgs I have ever played in my life. I mean heck, it's just really, well, a beautiful game. You can go 2 ways in this game. You can act, and then spare the enemy, or you can kill them. This game can really make you go through some really hard decisions involving these 2 choices. Here is my suggestion. Do not look up anything about this game. Do not spoil a single thing. Then buy it. Trust me, you WON'T regret it.

A very VERY hard rough-like platformer/semi-rpg. Many MANY abilites and items to choose from, and lots of characters to unlock. Best on multiplayer, but still fun on singleplayer.

BUY!

An absolute classic for the ages. The community is really what makes this game, while it can be terrible and toxic a lot of the time, the levels that have been created here are pieces of art and the game is just really addictingly fun

EDIT: 2.2 is finally here and it's SO GREAT, the game is in the best state its ever been and platformer mode breathes a whole new life into the game, check it out

Seriously, this game is one of the greatest time wasters you can get for a buck on sale, it's super hard but also super addicting at the same time! I highly recommend!

Great Game if you like terraria and space! Just a lot of bugs, but that is beta life :)

So, with 900(!) hours now on record in this game (with totally more to come), I figured I'd finally review what has to be my favorite game on steam! I'm going to make this a pro con review because im too lazy to make it an indepth one ;)

• Almost infinite replayability through beating the game again and again, multiple "challenge" playthroughs, and just when updates come out!
  
• Updates are 100% free with no dlc ever planned for the future, and updates have been HUGE.
  
• The vast amount of weapons that almost all play very differently from each other gives the player a huge variety of weapon choices to pick from.
  
• The soundtracks fits the game perfectly and is really great too.
  
• One of the greatest multiplayer experiences ever, especially with the choice of doing IP or steam.
  
• Did I mention the replayability?
  
• Great Art Style
  
• The development team is always listening to the community, and several features have been added because of them. They are also the nicest development team I've ever seen.
  
• VERY VERY CHEAP FOR HOW GREAT THIS GAME IS, AND ON GOOD SALES IT GOES DOWN TO 2.49!
  
• On just about every new generation console you can think of
  
• Great Modding Community as well, lots of cool mods out there

• I honestly have nothing bad to say about this game except that maybe its a little too hard to learn how to play

Overall, Terraria is an easy GOTY for 2011, and pretty much every year till this year (overwatch man, but its still a very close contender) This game is absolutely amazing, and even better with friends to enhance your experience. So what are you waiting for? Buy this game!

Addendum: With the release of Journey's End, Terraria is EVEN BETTER now. This update shook up the game in so many great ways, and the game is even more worth recommending then it was before. Play this game.

Addendum #2: The Labor of Love update has turned the game into an absolutely incredible game, adding in so much QoL and balance and new content that was needed to make the game perfect. This game is the best value in gaming. Play this game.
