Droggeljug! This game is absolutely fantastic.

Deponia is a point-and-click comedy adventure game about a poor guy named Rufus and his desperate attempts of leaving Deponia and its trash heap.

PROs
✓ Charming graphics
✓ Ridiculously endearing characters
✓ Funny dialogues
✓ Awesome soundtrack and voice acting
✓ Entertaining plot
✓ Challenging puzzles
✓ Extremely fun to play

CONs
✗ Buggy mines section

Gameplay
The gameplay is simple, you play as Rufus, you explore the areas then pickup and combine things to get yourself out of scenario puzzles. The puzzle difficulties can range from easy to extremely diffcult depending on how logical and creative you think.

Characters and Plot
I like how Rufus is presented as a whiny idiot with high levels of self-importance and yet comes off likeable. Actually, most of the characters on the game are likeable as they are unique. Denzel, Goal, the secretary guy and even the miners lining up are all weird and funny. Same goes with the story, it's weird and funny. Everything's well thought out and the execution is great.

Soundtrack
I love the homeless guitarist who sang the intros and the ending theme. The soundtrack and voice acting are just awesome in this. It's amusing and refreshing. Huzzah.

Overall
Deponia just made it to my all-time favorites list. Can't think of anything negative to say about this game (i'm cringing at how much adjectives im using in this review. ugh). Seriously. Eventhough i listed the buggy section in the cons above, it's not actually an issue since the developers have provided a work around for it. So yep, this is such a great game. I mean, the gameplay is simple, the story isn't mindblowing but the experience is definitely something. This game is unique and hilarious.

11/10. Highly recommended!

Early Access Review
Voxelized apparently is a Minecraft ripoff.

Now, i have never played Minecraft before but i can safely say that this game doesnt have much to offer. You're just this lonely guy with a pickaxe in a pointless cubic world.

Lost girl`s [diary] is a visual novel about a group of friends trying to scare each other with horror stories on christmas eve.

This being tagged as a Horror game is kind of misleading since it's far from scary. But seeing that the developers had indicated on the game's description that this is 'scary for children', it sort of pacifies my disappointment. Overall, i think this game is actually enjoyable. The graphics' good and the Russian horror stories are interesting to read.

However if you're not into reading, you might find yourself bored since this game is just a linear visual novel so the only gameplay you'd be doing is: cliking the next button. Still, it's a decent free to play game and it has unlockable steam achievements so i'm recommending it.

PS: If you have kids, you could read the stories to them to bond with, specially on halloween night or during camp.

True or False is, to put it simply, a quiz app... the steam achievements make it a game.

That's honestly it. You are shown statements and you get to choose if it's true or false. If you're right or wrong it doesnt matter cause it wont give any other details about the said statement. If you want to check a fact's legitimacy you'd have to alt-tab and consult google. And that's rather inconvenient. I mean, i could just go to a trivia site and read stuff there right? I get to skip repetitive stuff.

So am i recommending this game? Well, if you're into achievements, has nothing better to do or if you're really just into trivias then go for it. It's free to play afterall. Other than that, i really dont see why this is on steam. It's better suited at the appstores.

If I turn into another, dig me up from under what is covering the better part of me. Sing this song!
Remind me that we'll always have each other when everything else is gone.
- Incubus, Dig

Sorry can't help it. I just had to put that lyric in. Hah.

Sisyphus Reborn is a short point and click adventure where you get to choose what to do with your life at the desert. Now, the story could be a bit linear but there are three endings waiting for you and everything triggers existential questions.

Why do you do what you do? Why do you keep doing it?

It's short and bittersweet. I enjoyed the game eventhough the graphic's kinda childish and the gameplay is simple. I guess it just works. If you have the time, go and give this a try.

Silver Creek Falls: Chapter 1 is a game about two detectives assigned to a mysterious and rather bloody case that may or may not involve warewolves and vampires.

Now, I have to say that this game is actually sort of like a demo / teaser for the whole Silver Creek Falls series because it's really short. You can actually finish the game and unlock the achievements within an hour. With that said, am i recommending this game? Honestly, i cant.

I felt like i downloaded an antivirus that's supposed to be good for 30 days but after just a week the trial expired and the whole thing's forcing me to purchase it.

Yes, the plot is interesting, the writing is good and the graphics' great (if you're not familiar with RPG maker) however i can't stand the fact that the gameplay was very linear. It's great that it's story driven but to cut the game without making the player do something interactive than just going to places... i think is unacceptable. I just cant see this game as a game because it's really just a demo. In times like this i wish steam has a meh button.

“We make choices. No one else can live our lives for us. And we must confront and accept the consequences of our actions.”
- Neil Gaiman, The Sandman

Port of Call is a short point and clicker sort of adventure where you get to board a ship bound to nowhere and follow a strange grumpy Captain. Who you are, where you're going and why you're there becomes clear throughout the game.

I really loved this.
The graphics' simple, the gameplay is basic, the choices you make yield very linear results but the overall feel of the game is fantastic. It's pretty polished for a free to play game. It's enjoyable and the feels man. It's a sad story even if it's eerie. Tbh, walking through the shadows queue gave me goosebumps! But this is not a horror game.

So dont hesitate to try this one out. I highly recommended this game. I'd even pay for a remastered / upgraded version of this.

Launched the game and spent a lot of time on character creation mode. Here's my adventures so far:

✓ Created Mr and Mrs Bennet
✓ Added Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine and Lydia
✓ Dressed everyone in Regency-ish clothes
✓ Chose a 6BR house to move in to, not enough funds
✓ Forced to settle in a 1BR and 1bath property
✓ Got everyone a job at the supermarket
✓ Alternated everyone on using one bed and bathroom

✓ Fell asleep while playing
✓ Woke up and found that the furnitures are repossesed, there are pee puddles everywhere and everyone's fired from their jobs

✓ Went house to house as Elizabeth to find a Mr. Darcy
✓ Found a wealthy elderly man living alone
✓ Started flirting with said elderly
✓ Couldnt stand the elderly and Elizabeth making out
✓ Quit the game and apologized to Jane Austen
✓ Restart the game

✓ Created one character and rose to Rockstardom
✓ Game crashed while hosting a party at the club
✓ Found out the game was not auto-saved
✓ Rage quit. Will not play again

WTF?! Will never go to any dates in the park ever again!

A Date in the Park is a point and click adventure game where you play as Lou, an english guy who's looking forward to date Catarina (a girl he met in the bar the night before) in the park.

The actual pictures of the park Tapada das Necessidades in Lisbon are awesome. It adds an intense sense of realism to the game eventhough it has an 8-bit kind of graphics. The soundtrack is also good. The story is interesting however, the puzzles are rather easy so you can finish this game in less than an hour.

It's short but believe me the ending is worth it. lol

DONT play this game after midnight with your music volume turned up high. Seriously, the doll singing got me real hard, i had goosebumps throughout the game.

Price is a point and click puzzle game about Ivry who wakes up into a nightmare. His sister is missing, he's locked in her room with only a candle to light his way and to make matters worse there's a creepy doll locked with him in the room.

PROs
✔ Cool AMV intro
✔ Enjoyable gameplay
✔ Awesome, well-done graphics
✔ Great soundtrack although a bit eerie
✔ Challenging puzzles
✔ Free to Play

CONs
× Awkward story translation? I'm not sure if it's a translation problem but i found the story rather badly-written. The plot is there but the delivery is quite confusing. The transition between ECIRP and PRICE is awful. The game also ends rather weakly. I think the story is great but the gravity of the unfortunate circumstances Ivry experienced failed to make an overall impact.

Still, 8/10. Price is an entertaining game you have to try.
