The prey's story unfolds before us, though we care little for their hollow words. Yet, we sense the tension, the desperation in their fight for survival. We understand only hunger, but in the prey’s tale, we see opportunity. Their struggle is the signal of the hunt, drawing us deeper into their conflict. We follow their desperation, for it leads us to more flesh, more sustenance.
