Love the immersion and attention to detail. Voice acting, environments, audio - all excellent.

A narrative, mystery driven “walking sim” (I hate that term, but I guess it works) that’s backed by excellent visuals, and top notch voice acting, animation, and great attention to world detail. It’s NOT a space horror like dead space, it’s exploration, exposition, and a few quick time events. Go in to this thinking that you’re going to take part in say, an episode of Black Mirror, or some cool sci-fi short you’d see on Omeleto, or Dust on Youtube.

If that’s your jam, then go for it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, and look forward to the next title the studio(s) come out with.

Amazing atmosphere, attention to detail, and world building... All of it. It feels so polished and cared for. I loved the voice acting, and characterizations of everyone. The aesthetics of Art Deco in a dystopic future were so well conceived, and imagined. Every scene was wonderful to feel, hear, and exist in.

I played through the whole thing in about 6 hours, and I have no idea if I got a "good ending" or a "bad ending" - or even if there are multiple endings. But I'm curious if playing again I can get a different one.

There was a QTE at the end - which I don't care for in games - and I actually lost it. I'm not sure if I was supposed to have lost, or if maybe writing a macro would have saved me. (It was insane - I was two-fingering my left-mouse button at lightning speed). Perhaps there's a setting in the menu to disable the button mash QTE, and I missed it.

I'm on the fence about whether or not there's enough replay value in there for me to warrant attempting to find a different ending, as I feel pretty unsatisfied with how it ended... But regardless: I enjoyed the journey through the whole game, and it left me wanting to explore this world more.

If you are like me recently, and need to clear your mind of brain-rot games that do nothing new but take your time: then I highly recommend this as a way to immerse yourself and clear it all out.

This game's story is a trip, for sure. Do yourself a favour and don't watch too many let's plays or gameplay videos. The fun comes from figuring out not only what is going on: but how to deal with the story and push the narrative in the direction you want. Or just... don't. And you can go around in circles exploring every possible avenue of dialogue and happenstance.

Fully voice acted npcs and narrator dialogue, and great hand made art backgrounds tie the whole experience together nicely.

I "beat" (I think) the game in 3ish hours, but there are 97 achievements... So there's plenty more to do, and loads of voice lines to find, I'm sure.

It's an Atompunk Firewatch in space. I dare say with even better, and more voice work. Yasna really stands out, but everyone delivers. Bleak yet vibrant alien landscapes and a handcrafted world make everywhere you look seem like a postcard. At the end of the year, I needed a game I could immerse myself in without feeling stressed to compete, or "get better at" and this was it.

I'm only 9 hours in, but this is easily the most immersive Harry Potter game ever.
Gorgeous environments seeping with detail and care from the developers. I don't know much about the lore of HP, but I can simply see the effort that was put in to every area, including the views and vistas from one area to the next. Great voice acting so far, and a good deal of dialogue. Side quests, and things to explore are really starting to open up.

Combat is fun, if not a bit easy (I'm playing on normal). I'm hoping as I go along combos, and reactions will become more difficult.

My one criticism so far is that the NPCs in the environment are a bit lack-luster. I was hoping for a school full of life, and conversations from students and teachers everywhere you go. So far the school feels just quiet.

EDIT: one other thing I forgot to mention was there seems to be some serious frame drop every now and then - particularly when traversing Hogwarts interior. Hoping a patch sorts this out

Puts even modern shooters to shame. Just an excellent experience, from mechanics, to graphics, to audio, to gameplay. Very polished. Now on to 3
