I've only just started Act 2, and I already think this game is going to skyrocket right near the top of my favourite games of all time.

The setting as a whole is fantastic, gorgeous art and landscapes, and some absolutely ridiculously designed (in the best ways) eldritch horror monstrosities to fight. And my god the MUSIC. The MUSIC is absolutely phenomenal!

Just be sure to have a box of tissues ready. You're going to cry. A lot.

This is literally a broken product, half the features don't work, if even that. This entire release is becoming more and more a borderline scam, not a serious game release.

Not to jump on the bandwagon, but this game should not have been released. How you can literally cancel an annual game release, and then still release a game this underbaked, wrecked by bugs and a terrible UI, is simply shocking, and should be costing lots of jobs at SI.

Unfortunately, the Beta is the most played FM in history, so I imagine it sold well. So instead, SI will be getting lauded with praise by SEGA for job well done.

And to everyone who pre-ordered the game, including myself - This is on us. We did this to ourselves, by demonstarting that we'll buy the game no matter what.

EDIT: Yes, I am playing this a lot. Doesn't mean it's still not a buggy as hell game, and should not have been released.

After 150 hours in this game on PS4, I got it for PC as well due to changing circumstances - It's still an absolutely phenomenal game, and playing it at 60/120 FPS is an absolute treat. And even now, 6.5 years after release, it's STILL arguably the best-looking video game ever created. Absolutely stunning.

This is really hard for me to write, being a long-term fanboy of the series, but this game simply is NOT ready to be released. So many features left unfinished or unpolished. Not to mention the UI that genuinely looks like it was done by a first-year design student.

Is it fun? Yes, I will admit, it is. The core gameplay is amazing. But I am forced to give it a negative review, as giving it a positive review would prove that releasing unfinished games is an acceptable practice - And it simply isn't. Delay your game if it's not ready. I promise you, the fans would be happier, and in the long run, you'd earn more money.

Genuinely one of my favourite games ever - Have almost 200 hours on it on PS5, and bought it on PC to be able to explore the modding side of the game!

While other games do certain areas better than Cyberpunk 2077, few come together in a complete display of immersion in quite the same way. I don't think I've ever played a game where I truly FEEL like I am inside the game world, playing as the character. Baldur's Gate 3 comes close, but the first-person perspective in Cyberpunk achieves something the camera in BG3 cannot.

All in all, kudos for a fantastic game. Yes, the launch was a disaster, but IMO, it's more than made up for it now.

Really great gameplay loop, most things are balanced, and it's great fun to play with friends.

However, the less said about the UI/UX, the better. Thankfully, in a video game, the gameplay is still the most important. But the UX really is a bit of a disaster.

Glad it's finally on Steam, so I don't have to have 30 different launchers to play different games.

But it's a good MTG experience. Standard isn't in a good place right now, but it is what it is. I guess the business model is a little predatory, but I don't personally think it's *too* bad. Overall still a good way to play Magic when IRL options are limited.

If you ABSOLUTELY LOVE city-building games, do NOT buy this game.

If you're new to city builders, DO NOT buy this game.

If you're just your average gamer like me who occasionally likes to throw in a few hours here and there, this game is great though.

The game falls into this very strange grey-zone where it's nowhere near complete enough (especially compared to CS1) for the hardcore city-building fans - Like, not even close, that stage is probably years down the line, if ever. However, it's simultaneously too complex and difficult for completely new players, esepcially after the Economy 2.0 patch - Getting your city started, making a consistent profit in the early-game is an absolute nightmare, and I imagine would frighten away many new players. Plus, the tutorial is honestly garbage, you almost have to find a YouTube video to get you introduced.

However, if you're like me, who has 200 hours in CS1, and honestly just wanted a modernized version of that, this game fulfills that role. It has some serious performance issues, such as 5-10 second freezes every time it autosaves, and random crashes, but gameplay-wise, it's quite good!

Overall, I unfortunately can't say I recommend it, simply due to it not being an objective improvement over CS1. But if you are like me, it might be worth checking out.

Absolutely nothing bad to say about this game. Not the genre of game I'd be playing by myself, but with friends, there is nothing quite like running around like a bunch of lunatics, shooting bugs and bots.

EDIT: While I can still recommend this game, I am going to have to amend my review slightly. This game has a lot of bugs, and not only the kind you shoot. Random disconnects and crashes, weird audio issues (suspected due to the extremely violating DRM they use). Basically, when loading in, I can't feel confident that I'll actually get to complete a campaign, or if I'll get disconnected and lose my progress.

Overall still recommended, but man, there are some issues to fix.
