Spread democracy thru superior firepower. Nice up-to-4 player co-op PvE shooter that allows you to tune the opposition to your skill level keeping things fun no matter how hardcore you are. Live service game with some microtransactions that are actually micro and that you can actually earn in-game as well, actually making it completely feasible to not buy any microtransactions. Had some early server issues, but those are now fixed. Still can run into a crash or two but they are exceedingly rare. Sadly no reconnect into a match in progress after a crash, could really use that feature.

Thumbs up.

While not perfect, a good guide for aspiring cRPG developers as to what is important when making a game. What makes Baldur's Gate 3 enjoyable compared to bad linear games is that there are multiple ways to tackle any problem and your creativity is rewarded with interesting twists.

The second best factory building game (after Factorio) - somewhat less fiddly than the spaghetti monster that is Factorio, but on the flipside, late game turns into more of a logistical issue of stamping enough blueprints of designs you've made rather than designing something new or adapting it to the place. Still Early Access so development is ongoing and while Dyson Sphere Program is more polished than 99% of Early Access games out there, it could definitely use more game mechanics, especially late game after you can travel outside the initial solar system.

Sorry, the review is under maintenance because EU prime time and 8 hour downtimes to deploy small bugfix patches are how you run a MMO. What an amateur hour. I guess this is the end result when there is no monthly fee, there is no risk of customers cancelling subscription, then you don't have to invest in infrastructure and ease of maintenance because once you got their money, rest of the experience doesn't really matter to your bottom line.

Abandoned dead game, new stuff going to Epic store only in a new version. Company took Epic exclusivity money and does not care about paying customers any more. Hard pass on anything from these guys ever again.

Not as good as Subnautica, but still fairly good.

Mostly suffers for handing out stuff like candy so it never feels like you are truly scavenging for something hard-to-find. Also due to the smaller map, there is literally no reason to build more than a single base.

Played Subnautica? This is just more of the same.

Didn't play it? Go play it first, it is better.

Turns out if you have a good engine with excellent lighting and procedural terrain, it does not matter that your textures and models are from a PS1 game. Proves how important realistic lighting and shadows are.

Microsoft, just stick to console games. This is beta-grade garbage. Refunded due to completely laughable default controls. So I plug in HOTAS Warthog (supported) and Saitek pedals (unsupported, but come on, its one axis) and it detects the controllers. Then it offers me a default set of controls that uses maybe half the controls of Joystick and Throttle, ignores the pedals and then COMPLETELY BLANK SET OF CONTROLS on keyboard. I literally cannot even exit without crashing the plane or ALT-F4. And with the remapping being so clunky that it is borderline unusable, they expect me to go through hundred+ entry list of controls and map them myself to keyboard and other buttons they didn't bother to use for this default layout for HOTAS Warthog.

If I pay 70e for a game, I expect the game developer to have sensible default controls set for completely foreseeable configurations & supported devices. Flight Simulator fails this hurdle immediately.

Also for some reason the game keeps crashing if set to full screen (2080ti, 9900K, not hardware related) and I have to go to config file, set to windowed mode, start, then alt-enter to get to full screen every time I start up. This is just laughable. Wasn't this even beta tested at all?

At the moment; Avoid until developer finishes developing the game and publishes a final version. This is beta software as-is and should not be sold at full price. Filed for a refund.

Update: Also Steam Uninstall leaves 8GB garbage in Appdata folder ("Rollingcache" and bunch of settings files) and 90GB of stuff in the "content" folder that I need to manually delete. Did anyone ever even test this software before release?

Bad writing unfortunately sinks this one. XCom gameplay is still fairly good and there are some nice ideas to counteract the trigger-a-pod-and-blow-it-up problem of previous games, but then they let political correctness turn a desperate fight against overwhelming force of invaders into a... SWAT team cop game? With paper-thin excuses for enemy factions? I guess this is "canon" so XCOM storyline is pretty much busted now. Hope someone else picks up the genre.

So close to being a "better Dwarf Fortress", yet just missing that final polish and tuning that would elevate it to a classic. Still not bad, but more of a rough diamond.
