The Best Story-Driven Games of All Time
I'm a sucker for a good story. I used to love reading and getting tangled up in the fantasy worlds that those books would bring me. Fast-forward to today and my love for stories hasn't changed, but the medium I use to indulge in them has. Here are, in my opinion, the best story orientated games ever.

Grand Theft Auto IV (2008)
This was the first video game I ever took a proper interest in for the story. Released back in 2008, back when Rockstar Games weren't all into showcasing well crafted stories in their games, this game was their first real attempt at trying to bring a deep and meaningful story to their beloved GTA series. Still the best GTA game ever made in my humble opinion.

Read Dead Redemption II (2018)
RDR2's story is the only one to ever make me cry. The characters and their development are a huge part of getting you to really involve yourself with this game. The vast open world and seemingly endless content that Rockstar has put into this incredible game really is something else. Treat this game like a movie and you'll enjoy it even more, trust me.

Mafia (2020)
An absolute masterpiece of a game. 2K Games took a cinematic approach when remaking the original Mafia (2002) and it could not have turned out better. Incredible gameplay, engaging story and memorable characters played by extremely talented actors. Definitely one to try if you haven't already.

Stray (2022)
Stray was a game that I completely overlooked when it was announced mid-2020. However, after release and seeing all the hype and managing to avoid any and all spoilers, I picked it up during its release week sale. Say what you want, but wandering around an apocalyptic, dystopian walled-off city and its grisly underworld as a cat with a miniature, floating robot drone who lives in my backpack just hits the sweet spot for me.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (2016)
The last in the series, and undoubtedly the best, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was my first time experiencing the Uncharted series outside of PlayStation exclusivity when it came to PC in 2022. An incredible storyline, complimented by beautifully designed environments and amazing gameplay. It's hugely engaging, is serious and sad at times, and has the right amount of comedy and make-you-chuckle moments to balance it all out. No wonder they made a movie after it!
