This is a very first impressions review and more intended as feedback for devs so keep that in mind

The gameplay this far seems fun and I can already see myself spending an eternity building stuff as I did in valheim. Not really that far into the story or progression as a whole but here are some of my thoughts that I hope the devs will see since the game is still in EA.

First thing that caught my attention in a bad way was how cluttered the HUD is. Now I know some people wont mind this and there is a button to turn the HUD off all together but I'd also like to see a HUD options menu that some similar games have. Let me choose what elements I want to see. For example I might not want the constant pop up telling me when I'm fulfilling the requirements of rested nor do I need a reminder while building for being able to undo my work in form of a large yellowish orange box on my screen. Just some simple on off boxes for different HUD elements so its not just all or nothing.
edit: Also a hud size slider would help
Another HUD related annoyance I noticed was that the stamina indicator follows the player character very rigidly. when running over rough terrain the stamina indicator also jumps all over the place with the character with very sharp movements. This would be solved if there was some dampening in the icons movement or if the icon didn't follow the character and was tied to something completely different instead.
A more minor gripe is I'd really like the ability to add an aiming point to be permanently on the screen. this would help with picking up items, aiming before shooting and just overall navigating the world and various crafting stations and the like. And while at it this should also be a toggleable option in the HUD options ;)

Overall a great first impression and I look forward to spending many hours in this game!
