Game that would like to propose itself as a Metroidvania, but in my opinion only partially succeeds.

Unresponsive controls most of the time, so much so that you are forced to redo certain sequences several times for a single mistake, and it gets frustrating in the long run.

Plot almost nonexistent except for some journals found around and very little else.

Difficulty level unfriendly even at the "lowest" level if someone has trouble getting the hang of it, which wouldn't be a bad thing except that the "window" to hit certain enemies with one's weapons is really calculated to the pixel. Absolutely unplayable with the keyboard, here the controller is a must for a minimum of comfort, but the problem of unresponsive controls is really serious in some sequences.

As a lover of the Metroidvania genre, this game did not convince me at all, although I tried to give it another chance, but really too many bugs.

I don't feel like recommending it.

As a past fan of Vampire The Masquerade and having played titles such as Redemption and Bloodlines, I tried this game out of curiosity and it did not disappoint.
It is an interactive story, where the choices made take their toll, making the plot increasingly interesting.
I waited for the translation into my native language before playing it fully, and a good job was done about that.
If you like vampires and are a fan of Vampire The Masquerade, you might like this game, maybe give it a chance when you find it on sale if you find the full price too much.

It is not a bad game, the roguelike idea is very good.

However, I struggled in some circumstances to distinguish objects, enemies and environments, I tried from the options to reduce the pixel effect with poor results (in one circumstance the game even crashed). Playing it in a dimly lit environment partially solves the problem.

In any case, I leave a positive rating of encouragement, because I still think the work done is very good. I will try it again later in case.

Tried again, it may be my impression, but I found the environments sharper and more distinguishable this time. The game continues to prove interesting, one bug to report: if you die and simultaneously open your inventory, you get stuck inside the inventory when the next character respawns.

The rating remains positive.

Several bugs have been fixed.
The overall difficulty level has increased slightly, but nothing impossible if you organize your equipment well and also rely on a good dose of luck, which is crucial in this kind of game.
Positive opinion confirmed, the work done so far remains good.

This game was picked up by me on sale, out of curiosity of the countless positive reviews.
Essentially it is about taking a long journey until you reach a destination, encountering weather adversity that can put a strain on the stability of your vehicle (which as you go can be upgraded along the way).
The game mechanisms are minimal, once you understand what you need to do and how to take advantage of your surroundings, it is extremely easy to play. It is not challenging at all; we can safely categorize it as a relaxing pastime.
What I liked most about this game is the atmosphere, the soothing and reflective soundtracks and also the well-created landscapes.
I did not encounter any particular problems, except for a bug that prevented me from progressing, but which I solved by loading a previous save.
My judgment is fully positive, this game is a small masterpiece. If you like this kind of games, I can recommend it if you find it on sale.

Basically you have one free game, but all the others you have to pay separately if you want them.

Nostalgia is fine but...it's not worth it.

Free game that is completable in half an hour or so, but with a deep narrative and also really well done in terms of the graphics of the landscapes and the atmosphere it creates.
It may appeal to Lovecraft fans, but also to lovers of horror atmospheres.

Non mi piace mai dare recensioni negative, soprattutto a titoli che comunque hanno avuto successo negli anni, come questo.
L'avevo già giocato quando era uscito, mi pare la demo di ormai parecchi anni fa, anche ai tempi non mi aveva convinto al massimo.
Ma no, niente da fare, non mi ha proprio preso, non riesco proprio a farmelo piacere.
Non è il primo titolo di questo genere che gioco, mi sono fatto i vari Diablo, anche Grim Dawn, quelli sì mi erano piaciuti e anche parecchio, persino Victor Vran mi era piaciuto nonostante l'atmosfera parecchio eccentrica rispetto agli altri titoli menzionati da me adesso.
Non mi piacciono principalmente la trama e l'ambientazione, più un gameplay che invece di divertirmi mi ha fatto solamente annoiare.
Posso dire che non siamo iniziati col piede giusto, ho provato a rigiocarlo ancora, infatti almeno due ore e passa ce le ho spese giusto per vedere un po' se a lungo andare un po' mi avrebbe preso, ma niente.
Ad altri può piacere, sicuramente, infatti le recensioni positive che ha sono parecchio numerose, ma a me non ha preso.
Non me la sento di consigliarlo, ma questo non vuol dire che sia un brutto gioco, perchè il successo che comunque ha avuto è sotto gli occhi di tutti, quindi la mia non è altro che una piccola voce fuori dal coro.

Management-themed games have never been my thing, but yesterday I wanted to try it anyway.
The initial tutorial is done quite well but it really explains too many things all at once, I got sadly lost in it, it will also be due to the fact that I am not used to games of this genre, as already stated initially.
In the end though, not being my favorite genre of games, I uninstalled, mine was simply a curiosity.
However, I do not want to fail this title, because still overall it is done well: for example, the possibility of being able to customize the menus by creating the drinks yourself is something I appreciated.
If you have the patience to learn the basics, this game is not bad for those who like management games, so I feel I can give it a positive first impression.

In this platformer-style game, the goal is not to finish each individual level by staying alive, but to solve them by finding ways to kill the hapless protagonist of each level.
And sometimes it is not even easy.
Received for free a few years ago.
The developer's idea we can call it undoubtedly original, so my review is positive mainly for that reason. Also because unfortunately it is not a game free of bugs. I also appreciated the macabre humorous vein in the main menu.
Recommended if found on sale, not recommended at the current price, since as I see it, it's a pastime if you really don't have better titles to play on your schedule.
There is also a minigame, which adds an extra challenge, that actually I found it already slightly more challenging than the little game itself.
