2K games are horrible and there attitude towards there customers is just poor in general. There launcher seems to cause crashes at random on all there games, other games, you can just start the game without there stupid launcher. But civ 6 seems you cant, so expect random crashes from time to time with this game. And dont expect any fix, as this problem has been around for years.

Do not buy 2K games... Wait until they get there act togheter...

Xcom 2 is a good game, but there stupid damn launcher breaks it. Why do big ass game companys think this is a good idea still in 2021? We dont care about your damn launcher, we have steam!

I do not recommend buying this game as long as there damn launcher keeps breaking the game, over and over again. DO... NOT... BUY!!!

It feels like a cheap port of PUBG with some halfassed crafting in it.

Game crashes to desktop since this expansion... So far its getting a big fat zero from me...

No-mods installed, disableing the expansion gets the game running. And if its true what the comments write that the frickin MODS!!! are the reason people crash, thats just sad for a big company like this to not add a version blocker like EVERYOTHERGAMEOUTTHERE... Damn, I hate these snotty fanboys.

Finally got the game to work after a total reinstall of windows on my computer "but from the look of the last comment this must be my own fault I guess in someway? XD"
Played a good day or two now in total and guess what... the AI is still bloody retarded, even though it has stopped with the 1000 year hizzyfits it gets from you settling a city close to them after they did the same to you and got aggressive when you demanded they did not...

There are so many fundamental things wrong with the AI from the basegame that is still there.
So My recommendation is to simply not buy this game, go for the older ones civ 5 and back and start looking at other empire builder games out there as it seems this series have forgotten what made there games fun in the firstplace.

And what the hell is up with the hole cartoon look of the base game?! Its a grand strategy game, not a childrenstoy....

Its a good game and fun idea within the survival-sandbox genre. But it has the same problem as all of the others. As soon as you logg out, your camp/base/town will be razed to the ground by others. You will also find that people are KOSing "Killing on sight" just as much as in everyother openworld game.

I like the pvp in these types of games, but its just plain mindless most of the time. Developers of these games need to realize that this type of gameplay makes people do crazy things without punishment. There is nothing to stop someone from using exploits/glitches or bugs to get them an advantage.

Seeing forums and youtubeclips from other games in thie openworld survival genre this problem is the same everywhere.

And trying the PvE servers wont save you, all the caves are built shut. People try like crazy to use bugs and glitches to destroy the gaming experience for everyone else.

Don´t buy this game in the state its in at the moment, it has the potetial to become something great, but until it reaches beta, stay away....

Ok, so I spent 20€ back in 2013 for this game. Been somewhat bitter through the years as have many others.
But, they are starting to show life in this now. Game starting to push for beta, just the other day they released basebuilding and alot of new and old stuff back to the game and started playing around with it.
It looks like a step in the right direction and realizing I have had 300+ hours of more or less fun with this game for over 5 years, at the cost of 20€ its totally worth it. Hoping they continue in the same way now and we will have a great game in 2019.

I do recommend you trying it out if you never have done so. It is alot of fun.
