Im over 100 hours now so thought it might be time to write a review - i have only been playing multiplayer with mates so cant really comment on the single player experience.

This game is a lot of fun to play. Kinda like minecraft, you gather resources, build stuff and avoid the natives.

The natives themselves have one of the more interesting AI's of any game ive played. sometimes they leave you alone, other times they are like a swarm of bees trying to take a piece of you. The intensity of the attacks / number of natives varies dependant on where you camp and how much you aggrevate them.

Cave exploration is well done and the number and complexity of the caves is increasing with each patch.

Building and crafting is easy to perform and makes sense.

PROS
Native AI (they really are interesting to sit back and watch)

Dynamite (woo hoo - no more chopping trees)

CONS
a bit glitchy at times (but has not really been enough to scare me off - Hey it is an alpha)
There can be some differences in gameplay between the HOST and the CLIENTS
Douchebags with dynamite
Houseboats (less said about that disaster the better)

Easy to get into - smooth engine - co-op is lots of fun!!
