The style is certainly not for everyone, but it is a very fun game for in-between. The dev is clearly very passionate about the game and you can feel it as a player.

Quite fun, especially for that price.

This will delay the inevitable takeover of the robot overlords, since this is basically crack for programmers. Good job on focusing our productivity on something not dangerous.

The technical execution feels like leaps ahead of Pathfinder Kingmaker CRPG. If someone wants a Pathfinder experience on PC, I will absolutely recommend this.

This game is incredibly punishing. But for that reason it is incredibly rewarding if you manage to pull it off perfectly at one point.

Spend 45 minutes yesterday combing through the blog of some American tax consultant in order to get a clue on how to progress. Got there because of an address on a paper in a photo. It was a obvious choice because the paper said there would be a church at this address, while there wasn't any. And finally, after poking around in the source code and doing some more googling I found out that ... I wasted my time on a massive red herring & gave some actual tax consultant some traffic.

Oh did I mention: This was in the tutorial.

Nice game to play if there is some time to fill.
It isn't a long-term-thing for me, but I start it every once in a while.

While I see that people might get bored quickly due to the admittedly small amount of variety in stuff, I personally highly enjoy it.
Without the case-mode I'd probably not like it that much, probably it is the tipping point towards recommend.

But I would love it, if there were content updates, adding more variety to map generation and assets/tools for the players use. Maybe some more side objectives, enemy tactics, different ways the finale of the case will work out. Hell, maybe even a incentive for doing a campaign of cases, so a case-mode style progression for cases.

Filled to the brim with violence, frustrating to the point of multiple instances of giving up, feeling very old.
10/10, absolutely amazing experience.
