It's hard to recommend this game to a casual player(for vanilla 1x servers) because this isn't a casual game. It's psychologically infuriating yet inherently peaceful. The sandbox aspect of this game is wonderful, despite the unfortunate changes to building mechanics in mid 2019. There are many different ways to play the game: PVP, building, survival, solo, zergs or simply for the adventure; there are many styles of game-play and you can decide what best fits your play-style. You'll throw hours into a server to finally be on the road to success and then in a blink of an eye it's all gone by a loud mouthed fourteen year old with a complex but that's part of the fun. Maybe a passing player will ask you for some food and you'll abide and then later in the wipe that same player might share some of his loot. Kindness can go a long way in this game except for the fact that you should never trust anybody. However at the same time, snowballing is addictive, oh so addictive. And that's just the beauty of the game: no time in one server will ever be like an experience in another and every wipe is different. I highly recommend if to players who enjoy open world, survival type games with the curve-ball being the PvP aspect. Be sure not to stray too far alone, the solo life is quite challenging and it's best played with a friend.

There are so many things you can do in GTA V; it's transcended to another level. With the introduction of heists, to organizations and motorcycle gangs, to aerial combat and support, this game just keeps evolving with the times to keep people interested. Couple that with all the online content Rockstar keeps pushing, it keeps the game enjoyable and still relevant despite it's release a few years back. This games has changed its face so many times over, while continuing to keep everything competitive and fun. I can't forsee a new Rockstar GTA game in a while because the amount of free DLC this game has produced is more content than some entire games. I still highly recommend it to new PC players or even those who think they'll be "late" to the game.
