Tibor je nekoć bio poput svojih vršnjaka. Mnogi su mu predviđali uspješnu slikarsku karijeru. No Tibor je odabrao vampirski put.

It was fun to contribute a little bit in this back in the day; nice to see a refreshed version on more platforms and with added controller support.

Interesting design UI, but confusing real-time pausable "simulations". I'm not a fan of the 'manually send crew on patrols' idea -- even while "simulating" the tutorial's first "custom" ship, this is already tedious; I can't imagine enjoying myself on more complex ships.

Trailers seem to actually show prerendered ships flying around: I don't think these are in the game.

Otherwise, UI bugs:
- Buggy with 150% UI scaling on Windows 10 (something I simply need on a 4k display unless I want to drop resolution manually).
- Non-scalable UI means text ends up looking blurry.
- Text regularly falls out of the container.

I don't know what the cure for the core gameplay would be, but I don't think I will be returning to the game. For building things I want a city builder, or for space fights with a custom ship, either a spacesim or a 4x strategy. And for my "have crew on missions" needs, something like FTL. This is trying to be all, which might work -- but not with whatever custom UI they've built, and it'd need a lot of corrections to the core "control crew" mechanic to entertain me.

After suffering no-servers situation a few months ago, I went through training on Xbox 360, left; then I repeated it on PC. The training is interesting, and the wallrun stuff sounds like it might be interesting.

Then I realized that not only is it true that this is multiplayer only... but it is indeed mainly a PvP game with mere 36 players online -- in the largest of over 10 separate game modes / matchmaking groups.

So, after some minimum training, assuming the game works, in 2021 you get thrown into a multiplayer pool. There's no other activity to do. It is presumably populated primarily by people who are large fans of the game, given its low population and multiplayer-only situation.

I'll mark this as a regretful purchase and see if TF2 is in any better shape. Wallrun seems like it would be really interesting if Bungie gives it to Destiny 2's hunter or titan class.

430h in (2023-06):
Not recommended.

I bought the Deluxe Edition on a massive discount (because it finally fell down to a fair price), so I completed the Witch Queen campaign. Campaign was interesting, but playing on Legendary in hopes of allegedly getting rewarded at the end was a mistake. I'm not sure I like the glaive too much, but at least it's innovative. The weaponcrafting does not seem like a fun activity in the long run; though it might be marginally better than collecting random drops, it still seems like a tedious grind.

I don't really currently intend on continuing PvE content, and even less so PvP content, all that much past this point -- but who knows? I might fire up the game here-and-there.

I played the Lightfall campaign introduction mission, and while Strand might be interesting, I once again won't pay for an upgrade like this. The continued predatory excessive pricing practices by Bungie mean I refuse to pay for something I could easily afford, and if I weren't so jaded, might even get my money's worth out of. I most certainly won't pay Bungie for season passes for this game.

From what I understand, the current season's "new" content is set on Titan -- a place I have already paid for and that got taken away from me, in the name of maintainability of the game. I still don't recognize this as a valid way to handle a game.

I appreciate a lot that Destiny 1 got frozen in time, content-wise. It's simply playable as is. I'm afraid it might get shut down some day, which is frustrating given it _could_ be turned into a single-player/LAN title. Just like Destiny 2 could.

But alas.

417h in, just before Witch Queen:
Not recommended.

In Season 15, I grew disillusioned with the game, as Bungie locked "30th Anniversary" content beyond an additional 30eur purchase, as they're charging 40eur for base Witch Queen, 80eur for Witch Queen 'deluxe' with 'season passes', or the insane 100eur for Witch Queen + 30th Anniversary.

I've opted not to pay for this. I've ended up not playing for many weeks in a row. I've played enough to get what I paid for, and I'm unlikely to continue with Destiny 2. Pricing is egregious, the amount of content given not worth it, removal of content I paid for (campaigns Red War, Curse of Osiris and now Forsaken; Mars, Io, and now Tangled Shore) are egregious.

I also still don't want to play PvP the way Bungie is doing the matchmaking. Whatever they're doing in matchmaking doesn't work for me, and the only reason I ever touch that stuff is because some items are gated behind the PvP-wall.

Recommended

I've put in even more hours on Stadia (extra 400).

Decent feeling for weapons. An assortment of weapon types and weapons. Cool jumps. Variety of class+subclass combos with a set of different jump, 'grenade', melee and 'super' abilities on each.

If only the story made more sense.

Take into account that Destiny 2 is certainly taking itself as 'game as a service': loads of content was recently deleted (including a lot of the campaign story -- new players must be wondering 'what's Red War and why does anyone care', and even when it was included, the story was confusing, as Destiny 1 content was /never/ released on PC). Instead of releasing Destiny 3 with some of the old content, they deleted content from Destiny 2. Was that the best choice devs could make to avoid 'splitting the community'? Perhaps.

The strategy they have for networking (there's a description of Destiny 1 networking code online) is sensible on paper, but in practice, there are frequently really strange glitches.

I don't enjoy PvP in games in general; this is no exception. To me, PvP is an unenjoyable grind that I approach only for 'bounties' (daily and weekly quests) and I resent when anything aside from the 'Control' mode is a requirement for some reward. The wide variety of weapons and 'rolls' on weapons (i.e. randomly generated additional effects), plus confusing effects of the stats conferred by armor and armor mods (which can increase weapon precision and such) mean it's hard to estimate if someone crushing me is due to skill or due to their stats. When some bounties are making me switch to a weapon I don't like, things are even worse. Even when I'm aware it's likely due to stats, I resent PvP.

Jumping and running is still the most enjoyable out of any game I tried, and again, weapons have a great feel, so I'd still give Destiny 2 a go for the PvE, which can be an absolute blast.

Best pixel art editor I've used.

(I've used it off of Steam, too, so this hour count is undercounted.)

Enjoyable re-release of the game. Fewer keyboard input issues than the Windows 10 version.

While it will still be buggy, switch to the older v1.10 to reduce the chance of out-of-sync issues. (Use Steam's betas feature.)

This is not a remaster of "DuckTales: The Quest for Gold" (the MS-DOS game) but of "DuckTales" (Capcom's NES game). Therefore, it's rather uninteresting to me from nostalgia point of view, and also from entertainment point of view.

Cutscenes are not interesting either and are unskippable with unamusing voices. Perhaps it's uninteresting because I've never seen the TV show or played the NES game-- I've only played the DOS game.

I didn't play much. I mostly played in Austria. I haven't been much in Austria in real life, but I can tell there is... some resemblance.

That said -- while screenshots make it seem like the game looks superb, engrossing, with great amount of care going into good, detailed texturing and into feeling like you are a large track in a much, much larger world -- it is not so. What should be cities feel like towns, what should be multi-hour rides are just short trips. Textures are visibly repeating 2002-style, trees are visibly repeating 2002-style, vegetation seems to be simple repetitive billboards, etc.

It's not just the appearance (which would be the main reason why I bought this game). Missions are frustrating with having to be not just in the right spot, but turned in the right direction (without indication what that direction is). Upon which point you get suggestion "hey, now, you can get extra XP if you actually park super-precisely elsewhere" -- a frustrating experience itself.

I want to like this game, I really do, especially so given that user reviews thus far are 'overwhelmingly positive'. I typically don't go out of my way to rate games negatively, which says something, I think. Maybe I would like the game more if I appreciated the *truck* simulation part, which I honestly don't care much for.

However, I can't shake the feeling that I am playing a non-profit toy "here's what our city looks like" project from 2002, instead of a professionally, commercially released game from 2013 with full price of EUR19.99, plus DLC costs.
