Steam bots charm, heist movie goodness, cowboy sci-fi vibes and addictive gameplay.

Atmospheric, fun, creative turn-based strategy game. Reminds me of the best parts of Shadowrun.
The colorful graphics made me weary about it being an amateur project, but it turned out to be an amazing game!
It has a professional soundtrack, great atmosphere with fun and funny themes throughout the game. I did not expect to get hooked on it, but it sucked me in from the first few missions. Learning to bounce bullets off walls, planning unit placement, team load-out and an escape route was really cool. It never gets boring by keeping missions brief, randomizing level layout and changing up goals.
Tons of fun to be had. I highly recommend playing it!

Don’t hesitate to get this game. It’s one of the most well crafted and balance you will ever play.
It has wonderful art to feast your eyes on; characters that you will love and remember; voice acting, so you don’t have to read; challenging gameplay that is expertly crafted to never be boring.
Exceptionally balance, very well crafted and a pleasure to play. I was skeptical about the match-3 at first, but it’s surprisingly interesting and challenging here.
I highly recommend this game!

If you enjoy exploring, casual survival and crafting don’t hesitate to get the game. It might not seem like much, but you’ll get sucked in to it once you start. I recommend it.

My personal experience with the game has been mixed. I enjoy meditative survival games like Long Dark, where the environment itself is your enemy and fighting is not the focus – survival is. This seemed like just that kind of game, but it’s just short of being great. It has a fixer-upper feel to it.
Subnautica doesn’t know what it wants to be. It’s first 20 hours are amazing and engaging. The rest are a confusing slog of finding out there’s nothing more to do here.
It has amazing environments, creatures and plants that look and feel believable, design that mimics real-world diver experience. Yet I felt little incentive to truly explore all of it. It adds a variety of aggressive creatures that punish you for exploration, forcing you to take huge risks or save-scum to make exploring worth it.
The game has a base building system, but it’s clunky at times and very limited. It’s not diverse enough to be entertaining on it’s own. Half of my time in the game I spent in just a few rooms and did not use 80% of the building options, since I didn’t really see the point of them. I only started base-building when I got stuck in the story and did not know what to do next.
The story is intriguing at first, but feels like something that is tacked on. Aggressive creatures surround most of the story related areas, so you’ll often rush out as soon as you can. You will miss important story cues and items frequently. The final objective is so small that I missed it and spent 10 hours trying to figure out what I did wrong. Only 10% of people who own Subnautica have finished it’s story. That is a shame, because it’s a big chunk of content wasted.
It’s a polished game that has the potential to be so much more, but I don’t think the developers know how to improve on it. I still enjoyed my 70 hours with it, but unfortunately, I don’t feel like I’ll be returning to it, like I do to other sandbox survival games.

The art direction in this game is superb. Both the music, presentation and visuals are top notch.
I recommend the game to people who enjoy trial and error and figuring out resource puzzles and management/optimization.

Personally, I don’t enjoy those mechanics. I gave up on the game as soon as I saw that there is very little wiggle room for survival strategy. Either you guess how the developers wanted you to play the game, or you fail. Some of the UI elements are also bizarrely small. This made for an uncomfortable experience.

It’s a StarCraft inspired game that focuses on surviving waves of enemies.
The visuals are pleasant and the devs clearly put a lot of effort in to the game.
Personally, I found the game to be just meh. It’s ok.
Most elements have that inexperienced execution where they lack polish to be truly engaging or fun.
Just like many other reviews mentioned, the game lacks in-mission saves, which makes it frustrating to play. The hordes get boring pretty fast. You either figure out how to beat them and get bored or you are defeated because there is no way to know the intensity you will have to withstand.
I don’t regret playing it, but I won’t be returning to it either.

It’s less a survival focused game and more Far Cry 3 inspired dungeon crawler without guns. Weapon crafting is a major part and base and trap building is key.
If you enjoy Far Cry, Fortnite mixed with survival elements with friends – go for it.
For me, it felt too shallow. Coming from 300 hours of playing survival in Long Dark. I felt this game relied on cheap horror tropes – darkness, gore, enemy hordes. A good game doesn’t need to flicker the lights to scare you. That’s what resource scarcity is for.
I simply expected more from this game and it turned out to be not as well-crafted as I expected.

I bought this after spending hundreds of hours in Civ V.
It’s different, but it’s also good. Treat it like it’s own game and not a sequel.

There are several new mechanics I enjoyed and the gameplay continues to evolve from game to game. I’m looking forward to seeing where this series goes next.

One of the most well designed metroidvania. It knows how to get you in the zone and make grinding enemies fun for hours on end – a seemingly impossible task.
Satisfying platforming, gorgeous and varied environments, a myriad of powerups, items and crafting, multiple endings and secrets.
If you like what you see in the screenshots – get it. It’s a must-try!

A clever puzzle game that has loads of charm, challenge and a unique feel. It has a retro esthetic that helps you focus on the puzzle solving, without unnecessary distractions. Despite that, it still has a unique visual design like that of retro games. If you enjoy unconventional and clever puzzles, be sure to pick this game up – highly recommended.

A platformer with a cool retro space theme and challenge to it.
If you enjoy the above, give this game a try.
