The good:
- Manages to be a relatively functional deckbuilder without going crazy with effects/mechanics like most of the others (in fact restricting you with only 1 buff/debuff active at a time, 2 cards used in a turn). Of course this may be a turnoff for some people
- Interesting bits of lore if you spend the time to read through em
- Very nice art
- Low price tag

The Bad:
- Terrible balance with your mileage being all over the place depending on run RNG, even compared to most other well known roguelikes/lites. Some builds are practically unusable unless you win all your proverbial dice rolls, and it's hard to justify trying out builds on higher difficulties/making the best of what you have when you can just, say, stack a gorillion bleed on the enemy when most other debuffs and effects are so hard/inconsistent to work with.
- Upgrades feel a bit insignificant until you get most/all of them
- Music might get stale quite quickly
- Gameplay loop becomes boring VERY fast

Overall, it's a nice little game for it's price (especially on discount) that'll get you a bit of fun on the side, but don't expect the typical experience quality you'd get from more mainstream rogues/deckbuilders. Impressive results regardless, considering this was made practically by a solo dev from what I'm aware of

Rounds drag on too long and certain modifier combinations would just make the fight near unplayable, even worse in solo play. Skip this if you're not just getting the full remaster bundle for some reason.

I missed a 45% chance to stun 6 times in a row and got party wiped

This is the worst combat experience due to enemy design I've ever had on any real action game in modern times.

10/10 would not play again. Go buy the game. Or a bundle.
