Update: After the hero pass update this "game" just feels and looks like a cash-grabbing mobile game.
Removing core features of the game in order to introduce a P2W (purchasable) battle pass system when people already need to pay $12.95 a month to play this game is a joke. In its current state, it will take you well over 1400 hours to complete, but worry not as you can throw more money at Jagex for some skips tier skips.


This game used to be my go-to game for the past 15 years, yet sadly I cannot recommend the game in its current state.

- Non-existent customer support.
- It makes no sense for a subscription-based game to have that much monetization in it.
- Developers don't seem to care for the game or its bugs unless it's microtransactions-related bugs.
- Yearly road map is never accurate with big updates being shelved or delayed to next year.
- The weekly updates are mostly ninja fixes for bugs introduced months ago or treasure trail promotions.


I'd never thought I'd give a bad recommendation to a game I put easily over 7500 hours over the years, It saddens me to see the game in that state.
