As a day 1 Absolver player:

Highly recommend to players in the fighting scene

Takes time getting used to the new mechanics, parry and dodge are clean, lock-on is decent, special moves, mushu rage, tactics on the spot, infamous LuBu. Its really here & worth the hype if ur a classic fan. I know I'm getting this :steamhappy:

Not good overall. Sparking Zero is going to put every other DB game in the grave. Xeno combat is very lack luster

Consistent frame drops on lowest settings, you can barely play the game, you also have keep "visual effects" on "epic", any lower and Kal's face starts literally glitching out like a strobe light. This game is practically unplayable for the Steam Deck, can't recommend in a thousand years.

It is a fun game, but there is a weird issue with the steam deck where as I am playing, it will immediately pause in game. No other games do this, I've even changed controls and nearly unmarked everything and it will pause like 5 times under 20 seconds, pretty much makes the game unplayable. Maybe I have this 1 in a million issue, but because of it. I can't recommend this on Steam-deck.

Love the game, played it years ago.... but why the hell did the same game come out 4 years after this one with only a story added? Another $20 purchase??? Could of simply made Story Mode DLC or a Free update to this version of the game... I cannot advise you to buy this version of the game, early birds curse I guess. Go buy the other one, they made the exact same game but with updates.

They should add a fps mode. So after you rebuild a gun you can shoot targets.

You skip the cutscenes you skip the value of this game by a lot

So, I have played this since the release date August 29th, 2017 (about 150 more hours than what steam is showing).
This is not a game for someone who is not willing to learn.
This game punishes weak a$$es who try to spam as well.
It is hard to grasp and it's not an "EASY" game for people to just jump into.
But the amount of effort you put into learning this game (which I'd rate learning it novice/intermediate) you will in fact be satisfied with roundhouse kicking someone in the face to end a fight.
You have small buffs/powers, there are swords, gloves, a WHOLE NEW EXPANSION, a great amount of customization ANNND... For the most part, the community is quite friendly, you will (not often) get people who run around thinking they are the best and fight you.

If they don't bow before or after a fight, then show them to not disrespect a true Absolver.

Trash ranked, people tier hop, only minor skill will get you some way.
I played this on my Switch as well. ♥♥♥♥ Zariel, such a trash charecter, literally the only time I lose is to that stupid ass.
If you can't aford a Switch for Smash Ultimate, you might as well rage at this cancer.
