I understand that this is an old game and most of the glitches and bugs i could find a work around but there was one game-ending bug that, no matter how much i tried, just couldn't get around. After saving a buddy, the mission gave me all of the "rewards" but didn't complete and now i cannot trigger another mission to start. I don't have any side missions or buddy missions available and of the 3 living buddies, i still have, i cannot get one of them rescue ready. If you play make sure to use every bug fixing mod you can and have a ton of saves.

Constant connection issues when trying to group up, the menus are awful to navigate, and game crashing.

One of the best games in the series and definitely one of the best pirate games out there.

Even though it's just a reskin of AC4, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's very enjoyable and gives you a different perspective from the other games in the series.

I would recommend this game. If you keep in mind that it's over a decade old and the controls can feel clunky at first, once you get into it, the gameplay and story are enjoyable.

Overall a good game. Very basic RPG and open world elements but the story is enjoyable and the gameplay is fun.
