I love this game because I've loved Harry Potter for as long as I can remember. This game brought to life something that I could only imagine in my dreams and the sheer detail the developers put into this game is amazing.

HOWEVER, this is not a good game for someone who is not a Harry Potter fan or is looking for a fun new open-world/rpg to try. The game is extremely shallow, there is little to do outside of the main quest, and the world is scattered with tedious repetitive "completion" tasks. Your choices have no effect on the outcome apart from flavor and how an outcome plays out. While the combat is quite fun, it ultimately becomes the same as using abilities in any ARPG or fantasy action game.

This game is more of an artistic showpiece for those who truly love the franchise to immerse themselves in; it is for the people who understand every reference and detail from the Wizarding world to appreciate the love the developers have for the world and to feel like they are part of the Wizarding world. It is a very personal game that not everyone will appreciate and I wouldn't buy the game for the gameplay - I would buy it for the world that the developers have made.

Felt so awesome swinging through the city. Using fast travel is a sin.
